The Lama: United with the consort (rig ma), the mother of various forms, seeing the Bodhicitta (byang sems) placed on the tongue like a lotus. The bindu (thig le) of the crown chakra merges with the bindu of the throat chakra, flowing down from the throat, obtaining the secret empowerment (gsang dbang) through the union of supreme bliss (mchog dga') and emptiness (stong nyid). Meditating on the meaning of the empowerment, the supreme bliss of the four joys (dga' bzhi), purifying the speech obscurations (ngag smras sgrib dag) that obscure the speech Vajra (gsung gi rdo rje) of the throat chakra, obtaining the speech Vajra (gsung gi rdo rje) and the Sambhogakaya (long spyod rdzogs pa'i sku), leaving imprints (bag chags). Relying on a qualified consort (rig ma mtshan ldan), playing in three ways, merging the bindus of the forehead, throat, heart, and navel chakras, flowing down from the Vajra Jewel (rdo rje nor bu). Innate joy (lhan skyes dga' ba) enters the Dharmata (chos nyid), obtaining the wisdom empowerment (sher dbang), in the moment of wisdom (ye shes skad cig ma'i), practicing the distinction of the four joys, attaining the mind Vajra (thugs rdo rje). Purifying the obscurations of mind and heavy sleep that obscure the mind Vajra (thugs rdo rje), planting the seeds of the wisdom mind (ye shes thugs) and the Dharmakaya (chos sku). Using symbols to indicate the meaning of the fourth joy, as a condition, innate wisdom (lhan skyes ye shes) in the moment, uniting with the supreme unchanging bliss (mi 'gyur bde ba) of the innate four joys. Through the power of wisdom uniting all perfect bliss (rnam kun mchog ldan bde ba) equally with emptiness-form (stong gzugs), purifying the subtle traces of attachment that obscure the wisdom Vajra (ye shes rdo rje) of the navel chakra. Eliminating impure appearances, obtaining the wisdom Vajra (ye shes rdo rje) and the Svabhavikakaya (ngo bo nyid sku) seed. Again, from the body radiates limitless light rays made of the nature of uncontaminated wisdom (zag med ye shes). Touching oneself and all beings, purifying the vows and self-nature obscurations accumulated by the three doors (sgo gsum), bestowing blessings. Recite the confession prayer, the root downfall confession, the Hundred Syllable Mantra (yi ge brgya pa), and the name mantra: Om (ༀ,oṃ,唵,body), Ah (ཨཱཿ,āḥ,阿,speech), Vakcitta Maṇi Kīrti Hūṃ (ཝཀྐིནྡྲ་མ་ཏི་ཀིརྟི་ཧཱུཾ,vāk-citta-maṇi-kīrti-hūṃ,speech-mind-jewel-name-hūṃ,Speech, Mind, Jewel, Name, Hum), confessing with the four powers to the best of one's ability. Third, the conclusion: Visualize all the retinue dissolving into light and merging into the Lama (bla ma), the Lama dissolving from his own Brahma aperture (tshangs bug), body, speech, and mind inseparable from one's own mind, becoming one taste with the non-elaborate Dharmadhatu (spros bral chos kyi dbyings). Rest in this state. Recite 'In the biography of the glorious Lama' etc. This 'Hook to Invoke the Blessings of the Guru Yoga of Vajradhara (rdo rje 'chang) Ngawang Lodro Drakpa (ngag dbang blo gros grags pa)' was spoken by Mati Kirti (ma ti kirti) at the request of the disciples of the Venerable One, who were endowed with the two accumulations, and later at the request of many disciples such as the wise Desto (bde stong). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
