Collected Teachings of Ngawang Lodro Drakpa JNLD142: Oral Instructions on the Practice of the Five Principal Deities of the Five Tantra Classes, a Practice of the Foremost Gurus Oral Instructions on the Practice of the Five Principal Deities of the Five Tantra Classes, a Practice of the Foremost Gurus Oral Instructions on the Practice of the Five Principal Deities of the Five Tantra Classes, a Practice of the Foremost Gurus Om Swasti. All mandalas are gathered together, the essence of the five wisdoms. To that, I prostrate with reverence, and briefly explain its practice. Here, the sadhana composed by Bodhisattva Lodrö Rinchen, and the oral instructions on the sadhana composed by the great accomplished Khyunpo Naljor, are based on the Sahaja (co-emergent) of Hevajra and the Sahaja of Heruka, each having its own variations. The practices of the lamas also vary, both are acceptable and should be done with faith. Therefore, here, the yoga will be explained based on the Sahaja of Hevajra. In a suitable place, gather the inner offerings, offerings, tormas, and other necessary items. Perform the refuge and bodhicitta generation in accordance with the common practice. Bless the inner offering and torma as usual. Om Shunyata Jnana Vajra Svabhava Atmako 'Ham. On a lotus and sun disc, a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) is the essence of the five wisdoms. From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) comes a vajra marked with Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable), radiating light, purifying all phenomena, both internal and external, and then gathering back, dissolving into light, becoming a bindu. From that, oneself becomes the form of Chakrasamvara, with a Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) at the heart. Om Vajra Raksha Raksha Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Phat. Repeat three times. From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) at the heart, Raṃ (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) transforms into a sun mandala below. From the expansion of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) comes a ground of various vajra nature, and from that arises a tent. From Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) arise countless Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) radiating in the ten directions, transforming into one-pointed to nine-pointed vajras, filling the space without gaps. The fire blazing from the sun melts everything, blending into one piece outside the tent, and the flames fill both inside and outside. The light rays from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) at the heart invite all the gurus, yidams, buddhas, and bodhisattvas into the space in front, Vajra Samaja, offering Argham to Shabda. 'I take refuge in the Three Jewels,' etc., repeat three times. Purify all defilements of one's body, speech, and mind, and like a mirror and its reflection, become inseparable from oneself and the assembly field. Meditate on the four immeasurables in accordance with the common practice. Om Svabhava purify emptiness. The apprehended is without inherent existence. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is the self-nature. Om, shunyata, etc. Not clinging to self-nature, all dharmas are emptiness. Thus, abide in equanimity. From within emptiness, in an instant, at the center of the protective wheel, at the heart of a variegated eight-petaled lotus, is the seat of the terrifying Dusmtshan (time-night). Above that is a Bodhicitta moon, from the Hum syllable (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) arises a vajra marked with Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum). From that, rays of light emanate. Pleasing the Tathagatas and their retinue. Purifying the sins and obscurations of all sentient beings. Establishing them in the state of Heruka father and mother. Inviting all of them in the form of Heruka father and mother, dissolving them into the Hum syllable (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) together with the vajra, from which one is completely transformed. One's self becomes glorious Heruka Chakrasamvara, body color dark blue, like indigo, emitting blazing rays of light. One face, two arms, three eyes red and round, eyes darting about, possessing an expression of wrath, allure, and desire. Canine teeth slightly bared. Face extremely contorted, with wrathful wrinkles. Hair dark as a bumblebee, tied in a topknot at the crown of the head, at the tip of which is a jewel residing on a wheel of bones. On the surface of the hair are various vajras, and on the left side, adorned with a crescent moon. Adorned with human bone earrings, necklaces, a collection of bracelets, a belt, and offerings, smeared with great ashes. A crown of five dry human heads. With banners of heroes and heroines. A necklace of fifty bleeding heads strung on human intestines. A tiger skin loincloth hanging loose. The right hand holding a vajra and the left a bell, embracing the consort. The left leg bent, pressing on the terrifying black one, and the right leg extended, pressing on the red Dusmtshanma (time-night mother). Possessing the nine moods of dance, completely perfect with marks and signs. Embracing him is the consort Vajravarahi, body color red, blazing with splendor like the fire at the end of an eon. The right hand holding a vajra chopper, with a threatening gesture pressing down on all directions. The left hand holding a skull cup filled with blood, embracing the father. Naked, hair disheveled, adorned with the five seals. Adorned with a crown and necklace of dry skulls. The right leg bent and the left extended, embracing the father. Both father and mother are youthful and vibrant. Residing in the midst of a blazing fire. On the body of the father, the three channels and five chakras, together with the sixty-four channels of the emanation wheel, are instantly accomplished. At the center is the essence of qualities where the three vajras are united, the Chakrasamvara wheel identical to oneself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
