These are all the necessary contents regarding the armor of clouds. How to practice Nāga (Dragon) and Thunder together: Or, according to the method of thunder, first, a pure monk purifies himself for several days, and utters the sounds of deities, dragons, and local spirits from his throat. The main practice is to draw water, thirteen portions for the best, seven for the medium, and three for the least. On one's own rooftop, from midnight to sunrise, practice as much as possible. Pour the water into any pottery or copper vessel, without considering the size of the container. Add to the water the six excellent medicines, dragon medicine, the three white substances, the three sweet substances, aquatic plants, gold, turquoise, coral, pearl, asphalt, white mustard seeds, various non-coarse grains, silk, and water that has been used to wash blessed relics. Take a forked juniper branch that is the length of an arrow, and write around it 'ཡཾ།(Tibetan, seed syllable, yam, wind) ཁཾ།(Tibetan, seed syllable, kham, space) བཾ།(Tibetan, seed syllable, bam, water) ལཾ།(Tibetan, seed syllable, lam, earth) ཨོཾ།(Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, IAST: oṃ, Meaning: Om)'. Use it to stir, while reciting the following mantra, and continuously burn juniper branches, etc., so that they smoke. Recite in the mouth: ཧོ་མར་ར་བསྡུས༔(Tibetan, ho mar ra bsdus, gather fire) སྣྲི་འུབས་བསྡུས༔(Tibetan, snri 'ubs bsdus, gather moisture) སྤྲིན་བསྡུས༔(Tibetan, sprin bsdus, gather clouds) རཀྵ་བསྡུས༔(Tibetan, raksha bsdus, gather protection) སྭཱཧཱ༔(Tibetan, Devanagari: स्वाहा, IAST: svāhā, Meaning: may it be accomplished) until the water boils. After the above mantra, recite: (Tibetan, om a ma hum thum ril bsdus, Om A Hum Thum Ril Gather) IAST: prati prati bharaṃ svāhā, Meaning: each each fill may it be accomplished) ཨོཾ་ནཱ་ག་སྤྲུ་ལུ་བྷ་རི་ཤ་ཡཱ༔(Tibetan, om na ga spru lu bha ri sha ya, Om Naga Spru Lu Bha Ri Sha Ya) ཀྲིས་སྣ་ཡ་ཡཱ༔(Tibetan, kris sna ya ya, Kris Sna Ya Ya) བེ་རི་ནག་པོ་ཐིབ་ཐིབ༔(Tibetan, be ri nag po thib thib, Beri Nagpo Thib Thib) འབྲེ་ཡ་ཡཱེ༔(Tibetan, 'bre ya ya ye, Dre Ya Ye) སྤྲིན་བསྡུས་བསྡུས༔(Tibetan, sprin bsdus bsdus, Gather Clouds Gather) until the sun rises. In the morning, sprinkle the milk mixture offered to the dragons in all directions. Recite the 'Hundred Thousand Songs to the Dragons' extensively. In the afternoon, make three tormas (ritual cakes) as much as possible. Starting from the night, perform the practice of Cloud and Thunder: Mix clean clay with incense and jewels, make a horse shape, and in the belly of the horse made of buckwheat flour, place a piece of paper with 'ཨོཾ་ནཱ་ག་ཀ་ཁཾ་ཧཱུྃ་ཡ་ཕཊ་(Tibetan, om na ga ka kham hum ya phat, Om Naga Ka Kham Hum Ya Phat)' written on it. Purify it with amrita, purify it with svabhava. From emptiness, visualize the clouds of the world gathering into one, transforming into a buckwheat flour horse, complete with the five aggregates, twelve sources, and eighteen elements. Recite the mantra placed in the horse's belly thousands of times, make a black rope from any silk or cotton cloth, tie the four limbs of the horse with the rope, and place it on the roof, etc. Incidentally, to prevent hail, one can perform it as a vase treasure from the foot of the mountain: Fill a pottery vase without cracks with water, put in twenty-five vase substances, as well as a piece of red coral and a piece of turquoise. Seal the mouth of the vase with clay so that it does not leak air, cover the mouth with any white silk or cotton cloth, bury it at the foot of the mountain, recite the heart of dependent origination extensively, scatter grains, and pray for auspiciousness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is there to say? If desired, one can also perform the subsequent fierce wind pressure style hail protection practices according to the ritual. In these practices, the meaning of the Nāga (龙族) roar has been completely explained. In any case, It is not necessary to put all of these together. According to the first of the two sets of instructions, one can practice any one of the outer, inner, or secret practices. For the second, Even if all these categories are practiced, they only become expansive branches, and there is absolutely no additional fault. May this elucidation of the heart practice activities, gatherings, and hail protection sequence, written by Sakya Ngawang Kunga Lodro, through this merit, may it become the cause of saving sentient beings in degenerate times from the fear of famine! May it be auspicious! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
