Because it directly contradicts the doctrine of 'Jam mgon Sa skya Paṇ chen (a great Sakya scholar with compassion for all beings). The clear argument for this is as follows: 7-299 The root text, 'Vajra Sequence,' states: 'The ground ritual also has seven aspects: selecting, examining, and purifying the ground; blessing, preparing, guarding. Examining involves checking for diarrhea and water damage. Purification has three aspects: outer, inner, and secret. Guarding involves guarding with wisdom and posture. There are two types of guarding, the second being prayer and dispelling obstacles. Dispelling obstacles involves blessing and commanding. There are three postures, and guarding involves fixing the stake and contemplating the protective wheel.' Combining the above meanings, our monastery's Cham dance can transform appearances, the offering ritual of glorious Vajrakilaya (Phur pa, an important deity and ritual implement in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing subduing and cutting through), the extensive branch of the ground ritual practice, the generation stage, the hand gesture dance sequence, are all written according to the teachings of 'Transforming Appearances' of Sa lo. In addition, to make the mandala easy to understand for those with low intelligence, after the recitation of dispelling obstacles, the actual posture is: after the great mantra holder has completely performed the root Cham dance according to the Cham dance model 'Transforming Appearances,' the postures of the ten wrathful deities are performed with cymbals and Vajrakilaya. In addition, in 'Transforming Appearances,' it says: 'Between the fire offering mantras, the hand gestures should be performed according to the ritual. The third subsequent action is to cut off the extremes of permanence and annihilation.' Etc. After reciting these contents, all the ground rituals are completely completed. Preparation is what the mandala ritual says: 'Preparation also has four aspects: drawing the Thangka, the deity and the vase, and the preparation of the disciple, a total of five aspects. Drawing the Thangka also belongs to the drawing of the wisdom Thangka. The preparation of the deities lies in abiding, that is, the generation, offering, praise, listening, and descent of the deities. The preparation of the disciple lies in generating joy, receiving vows, blessing, and giving the toothbrush wood, perfume, and Dharma teaching, giving the kusha grass, protective knot, offering the torma, performing offerings, etc., and dream omen observation rituals.' Therefore, the preparation work has been fully demonstrated. The main practice is what the mandala ritual says: 'There are also three types of mandala practice: drawing and blessing the mandala, and the sequence of meditative contemplation.' And 'Meditative contemplation includes the generation of the deity, offering the assembly, torma, and making up for deficiencies.' Etc. Apart from these summaries, nothing else is said. Therefore, the generation stage of the ground ritual, the hand gesture dance, whether in the preparation stage or the main practice stage, is not allowed, which has been proven by direct perception (प्रत्यक्ष pratyakṣa, personal experience). Moreover, this combination with hostility and obstacles is also not allowed, because the mandala ritual says: 'The subsequent rituals include guarding the torma, offering the assembly and killing, offering the leftovers, inviting the Dharma protectors and directional protectors to leave, performing inner and outer offerings and praises, obtaining accomplishments, and offering the torma head.' 7-300 Therefore, the preparation work has been fully demonstrated.
