According to the old practice, seven sets of dam rdzas (sacred substances) are offered. From the Iron Dog year during the time of Yabje (the尊者), the dam rdzas (sacred substances) and torma (ritual cakes) of Choskyong (Dharmapalas) were transformed into zor gtor (effigy torma) for throwing. Now, there are three torma (ritual cakes) in the shape of ox horns. If these are torma (ritual cakes) for the Zhidak (local deities), there is no clear indication of other recipients. Therefore, among the great torma (ritual cakes) offerings, there is the Lord of the Cemetery, but not among the zor gtor (effigy torma). So, this torma (ritual cake) is intended to be offered to the Lord of the Cemetery. However, according to the practice of the previous lamas, the number of those seven torma (ritual cakes) is not appropriate, and they are dirty. So, from the Water Sheep year, I have changed it like that, offering the lower part of the Chakrasamvara torma (ritual cake) to the Lord of the Cemetery. In the decree given by Ame Zhap (Grandfather's Feet) to the Ponlop (Master and Disciple): 'Following the practice of the previous Thukdam Nyima (contemplation days), during the zor las (repelling rituals), throw the torma (ritual cakes) with urging in the south and northwest directions. The young monks of Bentsangpa (monk family) take turns blowing short horns, etc., as before.' Therefore, the main expulsion of torma (ritual cakes) was previously done in the east, and it seems that quick throwing of torma (ritual cakes) was done in the other three directions. So, nowadays, is it necessary to quickly throw torma (ritual cakes) in the three directions except for the west? Also, in the same document, it says: 'After the praise begins, the leader of the assembly and the zor las (repelling rituals) performers, with the intention of hatred and purification, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra more than a hundred times. Then, the leader of the assembly and the protector's torma (ritual cake) performer mainly recite the Seven Syllable Mantra, and the other torma (ritual cake) performers mainly recite their own mantras, reciting each mantra about one mala (rosary) round. From the Hundred Syllable Mantra to the mantras of Vajrakilaya protectors, during the recitation of the torma (ritual cake) praise, the sound should be like the fierce stage of Vajradhara's oral instruction 'Victory in Battle,' and the great assembly will definitely make a loud noise. When approaching the recitation of the White Tara praise, the leader of the assembly and the zor las (repelling rituals) performers should align their eyes. In general, for the mantras such as Om Shri Maha Kala Soga (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Auspicious, Great, Black), strike the bell once. Then, with the rhythm of the bell, until the completion of the abbreviated praise of the Buddhas, Dharma, Sangha protectors, do it with the bell. Below White Tara, it should be done in accordance with the entire assembly.' Also, in the same document, it says: 'During the praise, the way each torma (ritual cake) performer recites is that the recitation of the four-faced protector can be long or short. The recitation of Putra (son) is the invocation, cursing, and killing of the performers. The general torma (ritual cake) of the Dakinis is the master of Shasana (teachings) and the long or short mantra of the goddess. The recitation of Dudgyal (demon king) is the two main mantras of the black and white demons.'
