It is called 'Body Empowerment'. After the disciples have bathed and offered gifts, they take their seats. Explain the preliminary history of generating Bodhicitta, in detail or brief, as appropriate. Offer a mandala. Visualize that in the sky in front of you, Mahaguru Padmasambhava, inseparable from the Lama, along with the assembly of Lamas, Yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, Dakinis, Dharma protectors, offering-praise deities, and wealth deities, that I and all limitless sentient beings are present before them, and until we attain the essence of enlightenment, we take refuge in them, and repeat after me. Recite three times 'Namo Konchok Sumgyi' etc. (Refuge in the Three Jewels). For the benefit of all sentient beings, I will attain Buddhahood. For that purpose, I will practice the profound path of Chechok Padma Thotreng Tsal. Think in this way, and repeat after me. 'Sentient beings of the three realms of Samsara.' etc. Recite three times. Again, before them, perform the seven-branch offering of prostration, offering, confession of sins, etc., think in this way, and repeat after me. May the Lamas, Yidams, and Dakinis consider us. May we realize the true Vajra meaning, recite three times. In order to lay the foundation for the subsequent empowerment in the main practice, please visualize in this way. Visualize the Guru as the actual Guru Drakpo, and prostrate with great reverence, making a 'du' sound each time. Light radiates from the Guru's heart, striking the heart of the visualized deity in front, etc., as in the common explanation of the empowerment ritual. Purify with the mantra of emptiness. From emptiness, arise a dark blue Hum (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,seed syllable, subjugation), which dissolves into oneself, up to the empowerment, as before, just changing the word 'you'. Again, light radiates from the Guru's heart, inviting all the Lamas, Yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, and Dakinis to manifest in the form of Mahaguru, as in the common explanation of the empowerment ritual. Accompanied by ritual instruments, music, incense, and mantras, invoke wisdom. To stabilize the wisdom, visualize the Torma (offering cake) remnants blessed by the Guru as the Guru's form, place it on the crown of the head, thereby stabilizing it, and generate this belief. Om, by the blessings of the Lamas, by the Samadhi of the Yidams, in order to subdue the Dakinis, empower with the Damdza Torma, the blessing of the body enters the body, the obscurations of the body are purified, grant the accomplishment of the unchanging life of the body. Om Ah Hum Guru Deva Dakini A Arzig Nirzig etc., and at the end recite Kaya Abhisheka Om. After reciting, give pieces of the Torma. Visualize the Torma as the deity, and give it to you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
