This is entitled "Questions and Answers on Mind and Wisdom." Titled "A Key Instruction on Examining Mind and Wisdom." Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Whose mind is the source of the immaculate ocean of non-duality, The disturbances of mind and mental factors are completely pacified, With immeasurable depth of wisdom and compassion, I bow with my head to the Victorious One, the ocean, and all the Buddha's children. The essence of the eighty-four thousand teachings, Without error in the intent of the Sutras and Tantras, Mind and wisdom are two aspects that are united. Having examined their meaning, I will write the stages of meditation. Furthermore, the perfectly enlightened Buddha also turned the wheel of Dharma three times in succession. The first turning of the wheel of Dharma is the aspect of the four noble truths, mainly intended for beginners and those of slightly lesser intelligence to enter, clearly explaining the method of practicing through the stages of abandonment and cultivation. The intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma is the aspect of the signless Dharma, mainly intended for those who have practiced a little and those of intermediate faculties to enter the stages, explaining that those who grasp at self are unborn by the antidote of the aspect of selflessness. The final turning of the wheel of Dharma is the aspect of the definitive meaning Dharma, mainly intended for those of the complete vehicle and those of sharp faculties to enter the stages, extensively explaining the aspect of how it abides in its nature. The first shows the characteristics of samsara and the path of turning away from what should be abandoned; the middle shows that the nature of grasping at what should be abandoned is without essence, thereby abandoning the obscurations of knowledge and afflictions; the last shows the essence of reality. Starting from the order of faculties and the sequence of entering, after clearly distinguishing the meaning of what is said, practice it. Here, first is the impure state with defilements, then through practice with the path, the impure, pure state where defilements are gradually purified, and the extremely pure state free from all defilements, these three states. Referring to the order of ground, path, and fruit, briefly explain. This is stated according to the order of the final turning of the wheel of Dharma. As stated in the Uttaratantra, "Impure, impure-pure, and the order of extreme purity, are called sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas." Thus it is said. The luminosity of the time of sentient beings

The self-existing wisdom is the basis. The four accumulations, joining, seeing, and meditation during the time of the Bodhisattva are the path. The perfection of qualities such as the power of the Tathagata is the result. Moreover, the luminous nature of sentient beings' minds is the Thusness with defilements, therefore, the virtuous nature of the Dharmadhatu is called the essence of the Tathagata, the luminous nature of the mind. Here, first, the meaning of the basis is explained: The nature of the primordially luminous Dharma, unconditioned and spontaneously accomplished, on the level of emptiness, no thing or sign is established, and it is not limited to anything such as samsara and nirvana, it is the limit of being free from elaboration, like the sky. From the aspect of clarity, the nature of body and wisdom is inherently present, spontaneously accomplished and luminous, like the disc of the sun and moon. Both of these are also the nature of Dharma without separation or union, which has always existed. As stated in the Sutra Revealing the Essence of the Tathagata: "The realm of beginningless time, Is the abode of all dharmas, Because of this, all beings, Attain the fruit of Nirvana." Also, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Although there is no difference between before and after, That Thusness is purified." It also says: "How it was before, so it is afterwards, The unchanging Thusness." Also, as stated in the Tantra of the Precious Ocean: "Primordially luminous is the essence of the Sugata, Like a jewel, all qualities are completely perfect, Like the stainless sky and the disc of the sun, Body and wisdom are spontaneously accomplished." And so on. Thus, luminous wisdom is determined by viewing it as the primordial basis. Nowadays, most virtuous friends and meditators agree that taking nothingness as the basis is inconsistent with the meaning of the essence. Because cultivating a basis of nothingness will not produce the perfect fruit of Buddhahood with all qualities. Because the three of basis, path, and result are confused. The Buddha is the manifestation of the fruit of qualities that are unconditioned and spontaneously accomplished. Therefore, this seems to be consistent with the view of the peak of existence. Here, we consider the unconditioned and spontaneously accomplished luminosity itself as the basis. From such a state of basis.
