That is, destroying the clinging to hope and fear, and the method of abiding in it. Third, taming with the final actions, which is divided into two: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. There are three in this: posture, objects, and dependent arising. First, it is divided into two: the nature of the seven dharmas, the fault of an unstable seat, the merit of being stable, a general explanation using the key points of the illusion wheel, and an individual explanation of the posture using the bodily key points of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality. Third, dependent arising has three: guarding the channels, gathering the scattered, and dispelling sinking and dullness. Second, the actual enhancement is divided into two: instructing the place of enhancement, indicating the key points, making a brief explanation of the place by refuting wrong thoughts, and a detailed explanation of the respective natures. There are two in this: individual and common enhancement. The first has three: the enhancement of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality. The first has two: concealing the essence in the space of dharmata, and concealing the wind-mind in the space of non-arising, thereby revealing the wheel of great bliss and luminosity, and briefly explaining the five bonds, and extensively explaining the places for subduing, averting, and scattering. Second, the enhancement of clarity has five: a general explanation of the place of the essence, individual instructions on the special key points, a direct instruction on the supreme king's oral instructions, a vast exposition of the limbs of the means, and praise for the qualities attained through familiarity. Third, the enhancement of non-conceptuality has four: indicating the main key point, the partial key point, the subtle key point, and the key point of dharmata. Second, the common enhancement is divided into two: the actual enhancement, and indicating its place. Third, realization has nine: the essence is impartial and free from extremes, the three of example, meaning, and method have the same meaning, the nature is the sugata-garbha, the nature is pure, self-luminous, and unified, the object and mind are indivisible and unified, the awareness-emptiness dharmakaya is naked, the many names and meanings are of one taste, the basis is devoid, like space, the mind is transcended, the dharma is exhausted, and it is shown as great. Fourth, the result is divided into two: temporary and ultimate. This is the summary of the third chapter. The third general meaning is the complete activity of the treatise, which has five: dedicating the merit to bodhi, explaining the manner in which it was composed by whom and where, giving instructions to those with good fortune, the necessity.
