Homage to all the Gurus who possess the boundless ocean of attainments! Now, I shall explain the empowerment ritual of profound simplicity. This consists of two parts: the preliminary practice and the actual empowerment. First, the master and disciples offer prostrations and a mandala to the Guru. Then, all the masters and disciples remove their upper garments. The disciples should visualize the Guru as being dark blue-black in color, with fangs bared, adorned with a khatvanga and bone ornaments. At the crown of the head, visualize a yellow Lam At the forehead, a blue Eh At the throat, a yellow Su At the neck, a smoky Kham At the two breasts, a yellow Ha At the navel, a red Ram At the soles of the feet, a green Yam Then, visualize that from the heart of the Guru, a blue Hung (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,seed syllable) radiates and abides within the hearts of the disciples. The Guru then roars "Ha! Ha!" three times. The disciples each take a small torma and go to separate empty places. Bless it as nectar with Om Ah Hung (ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:ओम् आः हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ āḥ hūṃ,body speech and mind), and offer it to the Guru, Yidam, Dakinis, and the local deities, praying: "For the benefit of all sentient beings in this place, we will perform the practice of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana for three days, so please do not create obstacles!" Thus, they speak. Then, naked and with a damaru, in the state of clear visualization as before, the body jumps, runs, dances, lies down, copulates, changes, and walks, etc. The speech speaks, cries, laughs, sings, wails, recites mantras, and utters the sounds of animals, etc. The mind is happy, suffering, neutral, desirous, hateful, ignorant, proud, jealous, miserly, quarrelsome, affirming, negating, good, bad, Dharma, non-Dharma. Think of the body, place, and appearances of the six realms of beings, the five paths, the four births, etc. Consider all the happiness and suffering of samsara and nirvana as your own. Practice and think as one with the forms of their body, speech, and mind. Transform into many, meditate coarsely, practice subtly, empty and hollow, again scattered and disordered, do whatever comes to mind like a truly mad person. Practice all the phenomena of samsara and nirvana, past, present, and future, as illusions of your own appearances. End.

When placing, the three doors of body, speech, and mind act virtuously. Teaching the Dharma, prostrating, circumambulating, and so on, are brought to a pause. In a comfortable resting place, the body is motionless like a corpse, without any movement. Speech is like wood, devoid of conversation. The mind, like the sky, rests in emptiness, engaging in great contemplation and sleep. By diligently practicing in this way for three days, there are two necessities: common and supreme. The common necessity is to reverse the attachment to the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Obstacles are pacified, and sins are purified. The supreme necessity is that the three doors of body, speech, and mind will not return to samsara. One is liberated into the three kayas, and attains nirvana in the expanse of the body, speech, and mind. Secondly, during the actual empowerment, there are three aspects: arrangement, ritual, and praise. First, draw a mandala with five sets of five fragrant waters each, forming a circle. Arrange bouquets of jewels, medicines, incense, grains, and flowers. Arrange outer and inner offerings such as tsok and torma as much as possible. The actual ritual is as follows: the student sits in front of the guru, removes the upper garment, and joins the palms. The guru asks: "Child, who are you?" When asked three times, the student replies: "I am the only son of a fortunate mind." When this is answered, the guru says again: "Since that is so, please reside in this beautiful and delightful mandala of the spontaneously perfect great nature." After saying this, the guru says again: "In order to enter this mandala, please supplicate the guru, please repeat after me." Gurus, Vajra Holders, please listen. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, namely Vajra, Ratna, Padma, Karma, and all the Tathagata families, please listen to me. I, named so-and-so, from this time onwards, until I reach the state of enlightenment, may the great Vajra Holder Guru bless my body, bless my speech, bless my mind, bless my appearances, please ripen me, please liberate me, please fulfill me, please increase me, please greatly increase me. This is said three times. And also, Alas! You who possess the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas, Whose defilements are self-exhausted, who passed away into the sphere of reality, Whose stains are self-purified, who gaze from the sphere of reality, With great compassion
