༄༅། །The Sadhana of the Five Sugata Families, "Lotus Thousand Petals," is presented. About Precious Paper. The Sadhana of the Five Sugata Families called Lotus Thousand Petals. Homage to the primordial protector, unchanging light. In the sky of the essence of pure Dharmakaya, The self-nature is the clear light of the five families of perfect enjoyment, With compassionate emanations performing the deeds of beings, I pay homage to the assembly of the victorious ones, the ocean. Phenomenal existence, the vessel and its contents, are originally the realm of the five families, The five lights are spontaneously perfect, empty and clear as they are. This explains the manner of expanding the Lotus Thousand Petals, which is practiced by oneself and others, all beings. There are three aspects to this. First, the external practice involves taking refuge and generating bodhicitta. In an instant, light radiates from the white ĀḤ at the crown of one's head. Oneself and all of phenomenal existence dissolve into light. With Oṃ Mahāśūnyatā Jñāna Vajra Svabhāva Ātmako 'Haṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), from the state of emptiness, With Oṃ Vajra Dharma Dhātu Ātmako 'Haṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), cultivate all-pervading compassion. With Oṃ Vajra Citta Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), one's own mind transforms into Hūṃ. Countless rays of light in the form of E emanate, All of phenomenal existence becomes one sky. Again, the rays of that very Hūṃ emanate in the form of Yaṃ Vaṃ Laṃ Bhrūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). Above the wind mandala, Above the ocean, in the center of the golden earth filled with water, above Mount Meru, in the center of the lotus, sun, and moon, is a great precious palace, complete with doors, steps, and mandala arrangements. With Bhrūṃ Bhiśuddhe Jñāna Cakra Bhrūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), in the center equal to the three thousand worlds, is a lion throne. To the east is an elephant, to the south a supreme horse, to the west a peacock, to the north a shangshang. Above these, in the center of the lotus, sun, and moon, Light radiates from Oṃ Hūṃ Trāṃ Hrīḥ A (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), offering to the noble ones. Having benefited sentient beings, it is drawn back, so the seed syllables transform in order into a wheel, a vajra, a jewel, a lotus, and a sword. On the four lotus moons of the intermediate directions, E Vaṃ Laṃ Raṃ Yaṃ transform into the five emblems. Again, light radiates, and the vessel and its contents transform into deities and goddesses. The rays of light gather back into the emblems. In the center is Vairochana, the father and mother inseparable. The blue father holds a wheel in his right hand as a handle.
