May the teaching of the Precious Garland abide in goodness! Precious Paper. This is called "Establishing the Instructions of the Dakini Heart Essence as a Precious Garland." Homage to glorious Samantabhadra! From the beginning, from the pure dharmakaya's expanse of space, the mandala of the rupakaya, endowed with the five certainties, expands. The rays of activity cause the lotus garden of those to be tamed to bloom. Homage to that which leads all beings. On the essence of the lotus in the middle of the ocean, the Sugata Padmakara, who attained the supreme wonder, with body and wisdom inseparable, spontaneously accomplishes the two benefits for beings, I bow. In the forest of lotuses in glorious Chimphu (钦浦), from the blessing of the pure space of the dakinis, the secret instructions, the most secret heart essence meaning, compose this king of jewels, the method of the jewel. Here, the Great Perfection Dakini Heart Essence is determined. There are two aspects: the lineage of the gurus and the instructions that arise from it. The first is the perfection of the place: in the pure, dense, and adorned palace of the dharmadhatu, the blissful realm, the perfect teacher, glorious Samantabhadra, father and mother, in the state of dharmakaya, free from elaboration, arises in the form of the sambhogakaya, complete with the five families. The perfection of the Dharma is taught by the spontaneously accomplished Great Perfection of Five Lights. The perfect retinue is the sambhogakaya Vajrasattva. The perfect time is when the ground is complete and unchanging. It was spoken with the blessing of self-nature. He spoke to the nirmanakaya Garab Dorje in the palace of the burning charnel ground with well-composed words. He spoke to the great teacher Shri Singha in the charnel ground of the Rough Grove. He spoke to the Ugyen teacher Padmakara Totrengtsal in the great charnel ground of Sosa Ling. He spoke to the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, inseparable from Vajravarahi, in Zho Tod Te Dro Drakkar (Upper Zho, White Rock). He spoke to Pema Leye Tsal in the secluded place of the patterned forest of glorious Chimphu (钦浦). The second, the instructions that arise from it, is the perfection of the dharmakaya's teachings: the common preliminaries of mind training and the uncommon preliminaries of placing on the path of maturation and liberation.

Thus it is done. First, there are seven paths: the path of the phenomenal world as a vase, the path of mandala for purifying obscurations, the path of the impermanence of life, the path of karma and its results, the path of the four immeasurables, the path of generating the supreme bodhicitta, and the path of the hundred-syllable mantra for purifying obscurations. First, from the state of emptiness of all dharmas, in the pure land of five lights in the country of Oddiyana, in the immeasurable palace of dry and wet skulls, with four doors and horse-headed lintels, in the center of the complete adornment of the mandala, upon a lion throne supported by precious legs, upon a sun and moon lotus seat, from a dark blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), one's own self as Padmatötreng, body color dark blue, standing in the posture of a giant, with one face and two hands holding a vajra and bell, in union with the consort. With reddish-yellow hair adorned with black snakes and dry skulls, embracing the consort Kharchenza Tso Gyal and the dakini Khadingza, appearing as two like shadows of a lamp, yet of one essence, holding a curved knife and skull cup, embracing the father. Adorned with red rubies and bone ornaments, with grace, bravery, ugliness, ferocity, scolding, and terror, compassion, wrath, and peace, possessing the nine moods of dance. In the four directions are the four dakinis, such as Harinisa, and the names of the four gatekeepers. In the heart of the main deity resides the root guru in the form of Heruka. At the brow center is the form of Padmatötreng, the wrathful one, surrounded by eight names. On the crown of the head, surrounded by the light of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, and the lineage gurus, invite the wisdom beings and dissolve them, reciting: Oṃ Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Tötreng Tsal Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: ॐ वज्र गुरु पद्म सिद्धि तोत्रेंग चल आः हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ vajra guru padma siddhi totreṃg cal āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Tötreng Tsal Āḥ Hūṃ). By reciting thus, imagine that all phenomena and existence are transformed into deities and consorts, and that all are reciting in the same way. Finally, dissolve into the guru in the heart, without focusing on anything, and dedicate the merit. Second, the path of the mandala for purifying obscurations: arrange it well, stand up with both hands, support the four directions with palms together, and offer the outer mandala, one kalpa of Brahma, to the gurus, yidams, dakinis, treasure protectors, and all. Visualize the limitless universe, formed from the bodies of the five families, as round, square, triangular, winnow-shaped, and as the base ཕྱ lava, etc. Recite: Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨཱོཾ་ཨཱ༔ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ).
