I rejoice in everything. Through the power of faith in virtuous conduct, I prostrate and make offerings to all the victorious ones. Due to the influence of desire, hatred, and ignorance, whatever sins I have committed with my body, speech, and mind, I confess them all individually. All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, as well as the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, those in training, and those beyond training, whatever merit all beings possess, I rejoice in all of it. Those who are the lamps of the ten directions, who have attained complete enlightenment in stages, I request all those protectors to turn the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma. To those who wish to demonstrate Nirvana, for the benefit and happiness of all beings, even for as many kalpas as there are dust particles in the fields, I also join my palms and entreat them to remain. Prostrating, offering, confessing, rejoicing, requesting, and praying, whatever small amount of merit I have accumulated, I dedicate it all for my enlightenment. Just as Manjushri the brave knows, and just as Samantabhadra also knows, I also follow them, and I completely dedicate all these virtues. All the victorious ones who have gone to the three times, with whatever dedication they supremely praised, I also dedicate all these roots of virtue for the sake of virtuous conduct. Thus it is said. Second, the main practice also has two aspects, the first is training the mind in Bodhicitta: Body, as well as possessions, and all the virtues of the three times, in order to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings, I give them away without any attachment. May I always be like the great elements such as earth, and like space, may I become the source of sustenance for immeasurable sentient beings forever. Likewise, until the end of space, in all realms of sentient beings, until all attain Nirvana, may I be the source of sustenance for them. Thus it is said. The second is the recitation of the ritual: Asking for forgiveness is the same as before, from the time I am called so-and-so, until the essence of Bodhi exists, just as the previous Sugatas, generated the mind of Bodhi, and for the training of Bodhisattvas, they

After abiding thus, likewise for the benefit of beings, one should generate the mind of enlightenment. Likewise, one should train in the trainings in stages. By reciting these three times, one makes a vow, which is the actual ritual. The third, the subsequent sequence, also has two parts. First, generating joy for oneself and others: "Today my life has fruit, I have well obtained the state of a human being. Today I am born as a child of the Buddha, henceforth I will perform the deeds of the Buddha. Now I will definitely act in accordance with my lineage, so that no impurity arises in this stainless noble lineage. I will act in such a way that no flaws arise in this flawless monastic lineage." Thus it is said. "Today, in the presence of all the protectors, I have invited all beings as guests to happiness, may the gods and non-gods and others rejoice." Thus, one generates joy for others. Second, making aspirations: "For the sake of practicing all excellent virtues, I will practice the aspirations of Manjushri. In all future kalpas, without weariness, I will perfect all his deeds." Thus, one should contemplate the meaning and recite. Therefore, those who enter the bodhisattva's training should take the bodhisattva vows daily in this way. Likewise, in the three sessions, one should recite the seven-branch prayer and refuge and bodhicitta as much as possible, and then read the Sutra of the Three Heaps. Likewise, this Hundred Syllable Mantra of the Tathagata should also be constantly recited with diligence: Om Nama Striya Dhekānām (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ नम स्त्रिाय धेकानाम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ nama striya dhekānām, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Homage, Three, Wise Ones), Sarva Tathāgatānām (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व तथागतानाम्, Sanskrit Romanization: sarva tathāgatānām, Literal Chinese Meaning: All, Tathagatas), Sarvatra Aprahati Hati Vāstaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्वत्र अप्रतिहति हति वास्तं, Sanskrit Romanization: sarvatra apratihati hati vāstaṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Everywhere, Unobstructed, Obstruction, Place), Dharma Tābālināṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: धर्म ताबालिनां, Sanskrit Romanization: dharma tābālināṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Dharma, Those who bind), Aṃ Asama (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं असम, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ asama, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Unequal), Sama Samantato (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सम समन्ततो, Sanskrit Romanization: sama samantato, Literal Chinese Meaning: Equal, Everywhere), Anandra Vāsti Śasanaṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अनन्द्र वास्ति शसनं, Sanskrit Romanization: anandra vāsti śasanaṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Without Joy, Existence, Teaching), Hara Hara (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: हर हर, Sanskrit Romanization: hara hara, Literal Chinese Meaning: Destroy, Destroy), Smara Smaraṇa (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्मर स्मरण, Sanskrit Romanization: smara smaraṇa, Literal Chinese Meaning: Remember, Remembrance), Vigatārāga Buddhadharmate (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: विगताराग बुद्धधर्मते, Sanskrit Romanization: vigatārāga buddhadharmate, Literal Chinese Meaning: Without Attachment, Buddha Dharma Nature), Sāra Sāra (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सार सार, Sanskrit Romanization: sāra sāra, Literal Chinese Meaning: Essence, Essence), Sama Bāla Hasa Hasa (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: सम बाल हस हस, Sanskrit Romanization: sama bāla hasa hasa, Literal Chinese Meaning: Equal, Child, Laugh, Laugh), Traya Traya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्रय त्रय, Sanskrit Romanization: traya traya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Three, Three), Gagana (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: गगन, Sanskrit Romanization: gagana, Literal Chinese Meaning: Space), Mahāvaraṇa (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: महावरण, Sanskrit Romanization: mahāvaraṇa, Literal Chinese Meaning: Great, Obscuration), Lakṣaṇe (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: लक्षणे, Sanskrit Romanization: lakṣaṇe, Literal Chinese Meaning: Sign), Jvala Jvala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्वल ज्वल, Sanskrit Romanization: jvala jvala, Literal Chinese Meaning: Burn, Burn), Na Sāgare Svāhā (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: न सागर स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: na sāgare svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Not, Ocean, Svaha). This purifies the transgressions of vows and increases the essence of the mind of enlightenment from above. Thus, for the fruit of the heart of enlightenment, the ritual of generating the mind that leads beings without error, by the virtue of writing this essence, may the intention of the Buddhas and their children be fulfilled! This was written by Zhalupa Geshe, at the urging of Rinchen Jampel Dar, who holds the bodhisattva's training. Nowadays, many...
