In the land of snows, where both temporal and spiritual laws are manifestly supreme, as the master of the complete Buddha's teachings, the sole refuge for beings including gods, at the golden lotus feet of the all-knowing and all-seeing great Gyalwang (Dalai Lama), I, Rigzin Gyal Kham Pa, at the place of Kasara, present important matters concerning what to adopt and abandon. Upon the lotus throne adorned with the auspicious wheel design, it is of utmost importance to request instructions regarding my own adoption and abandonment. Since I came to Tibet in my early twenties for the sake of the sacred Dharma, the venerable lamas of my homeland repeatedly instructed me to come to the Dokham region. As I have been in Tibet for a long time, they have gradually passed away, and I have been entrusted with the responsibility of cremating their remains and have been given their wills. Although I also intend to do some small deeds for the benefit of the teachings in that region and plan to travel to the Dokham region, due to the force of karma, I have become very interested in the restoration of the great self-arisen stupa in Nepal, so I went there. However, due to some key factor of previous connections, this matter has been repeatedly delayed for many years. Although I hoped to complete it at the end of this Water Monkey year, the delaying habits of King Mulve have caused this matter to be postponed again. It is said that there is unrest between Paksha and Patana on the way from here to Oddiyana (Ujjain), but I have heard that the Buddhist yogis of India, the Hindu Sannyasis, Bairagis, Jagis, and the Muslim Darbeshas are not harmed. Therefore, considering that Oddiyana and this region are very close, I am thinking of traveling alone disguised as a yogi. However, since I have not made great effort, the power of wisdom is weak, and I have not obtained a light body through the power of the winds, and generally my youth has declined and I am afflicted by many diseases, it seems temporarily difficult. But I hope to slowly use leisure and endowment for meaningful things like an insect, and I hope to reach the border of Kashmir around the end of the seventh month of the next Tibetan year.
