Due to the large expenses, I had to reduce the offerings of butter lamps worth more than fifty silver coins, as well as other offerings. During my stay in Nepal, I sincerely hoped that the Dharma wheel could be made of copper and gold. The king also did his best to take care of this matter, but the staff and heads did not seem to be very accustomed to the customs of Nepal. Therefore, going to quell the wars in the upper regions was also considered important. Later, I immediately set out on the road to Ladakh, as the decree of the most revered *Kyabgon* (藏文,救怙主,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Lord of Refuge) was reissued from his lotus feet. In Nepal, there used to be many Buddhist sects and few non-Buddhist sects. For hundreds of years after the destruction of the Śrī Vikrama Monastery in the central region, Buddhism flourished especially in Nepal. Later, during the time of Paṇḍita Nag gi Rinchen, and for many years after that, the teachings did not seem to decline. Nowadays, due to the times, only the name of the teachings remains, and everything is dominated by non-Buddhist sects. Furthermore, in the past, in the region of Pāṭaliputra, a king who practiced non-Buddhist beliefs fought with the Turuka king. After being defeated, he fled with many servants and settled in Kho Khrom. That king oppressed the old Nepalese royal family and promoted the flourishing of non-Buddhist sects. From then on, after several generations, a descendant of that king became the lord of Yambu. It is said that two hundred and sixty-six years have passed from then until now. Before that, those royal families only superficially practiced Buddhism and did not have much genuine faith in their hearts. The current king of Yambu believes in Buddhism and listens to the teachings of the Kalachakra, etc. Whatever the ultimate outcome, he now seems to be inclined towards Dharma. However, all the ministers and close attendants have become non-Buddhists, so they all seem to have no respect for Buddhism. Furthermore, due to the fact that we are now at the end of the degenerate age of strife, the situation in India is also unstable, and wars are very frequent. From a few years ago until now, Bengal in eastern India, Patna in the central region, and

The southern regions near the Vindhya mountains are severely devastated by war. In Patna, five hundred thousand people were killed on the battlefield in a single day. In the west, Delhi itself has also experienced repeated wars due to the rebellion of some ministers. Especially in the northwest of the Muslims, Delhi's Nawab Allama Mar, located in a land of ice mountains, possesses millions of troops. Due to discord with Delhi, he plans to launch a rebellion this year, but a wise minister mediated between the ruler of Delhi and the Nawab, sending him to Delhi to suppress a rebellion in the southwest, thus averting the danger of war. This is what a merchant from Varanasi said upon arriving in Nepal. Whether true or not, I report what I have heard to the esteemed master, the unobstructed Dharmadhatu. This time, traveling to Nepal, due to inconvenient roads and uneven temperatures, it was very arduous, but for the sake of the Buddha's relics stupa, the merit of each step taken is immeasurably praised. Representing this, may all my virtues, past, present, and future, never diminish, and be completely dedicated to supreme enlightenment. The offerings for prayer are two pieces of Kashmiri saffron-colored cloth, and the petition presented by the insignificant Vidyadhara Gyalkhampa, completed on the first auspicious day of the red quarter of the dark month (Tibetan calendar) at the residence of Joki Akar, may all be auspicious! I beseech before the gods of gods, the performer of the activities of the protector of the snowy land, the upholder of the ten virtues, the creator of peace in the snowy land, and those who have become great gods among men: From countless generations, never neglecting the accumulation of great merit, in the land of snow where the Buddha's teachings are complete, as the executor of the activities of the world's protector, for the benefit and happiness of the snowy land, the creator of auspiciousness, residing without missing the opportune time, for the sake of all beings in general and in particular, never abandoning with great compassion, this precious letter, like the touch of the king of the three realms, is white and long in all aspects, along with the complete seal, bestowed from Lhasa on February 23rd, arriving on the evening of March 12th.
