The Dharma of Union of Ground and Path. Listen to this instruction on the profound path of Tummo. Without fixating on your own body, in the state of emptiness of reliance, In an instant, visualize the Dharma source, the land of Oddiyana. In the center, on a red Eh syllable, a lotus, the sun, and a Bam syllable, a corpse, From the A syllable, transform into Vajravarahi, complete with the attire of a wrathful goddess. In her right and left hands, she holds a curved knife and a skull cup, her two feet dance. Inside the body is an empty space, like a red silk tent spread out. In the center, the supreme channel, the central channel, is like a crystal tube. Possessing four characteristics, with the two channels, the right and left, on either side. The lower ends are gathered below the navel and enter the central channel. The upper end of the central channel is the Brahma aperture, the opening of the right and left channels. Together with the four chakras, the doors of clarity, increase, and attainment. Four fingers below the navel, above the sun, is the Lama, Inseparably, a red Ram syllable, blazing with fire, with focused intention. Pray to the Lama, exhale the nine vital winds with essential points. Slowly inhale, hold for a moment, relax, and then desire to inhale again. At the beginning, inhale a little, gradually increasing to the navel. Through the right and left channels, the wind enters the central channel. From the Ram syllable, fire blazes, filling the petals of the navel chakra. Gradually becoming accustomed, filling the secret place and the heart. Think and move the hips and waist, do it from time to time. If you feel unable to bear it, close your eyes slightly and focus. On the navel, release the wind, exhale completely. Thus, inhaling, filling, suppressing, and exhaling are the four actions. When you feel that the speech wind is full and unbearable, Imagine the pores of the skin as sieves. All the winds turn into blue smoke and dissipate, causing the body to tremble and release. After that, exhale, cherish the appropriate amount of wind. At this time, practice the five branches of Trulkhor. To untie the knots of the channels, strive diligently with speech. Having meditated on that, the wisdom of Tummo is: Below the navel, the A syllable transforms into a cremation ground of fire. The moon Ham syllable faces downward, melting with warmth. The nectar descends, chasing after the fire to the end. Melted into the heart, gradually increasing Bodhicitta. The throat, heart, navel, and secret place, the chakras are filled with channels. Focus on the key points, identify the four joys, increase stability and examine. Then reverse, place awareness in the space of the crown. Guiding with the six unions, stabilize the lower joy. Experiencing in the four chakras, the four transformations of animals. Sending to the realm of Brahma, the Dharma source arises with the play of lions. Spread out, strike with the fist, seal the channel openings. After that, abide in the vast expanse of bliss and emptiness, the nature of reality. Free from thoughts, words, and attachments, relaxation is praised. The root of the path of means, extract the essence, practice is the main thing. Therefore, the common and uncommon practices are: Samantabhadra, the appearance of asceticism.

Conduct. In secluded practice, harmonize with the assembly of individuals with three levels of capacity. In brief, outwardly conform to the Vinaya precepts of pure conduct. Inwardly, emphasize the generation of bodhicitta and compassion. Secretly, practice the profound secret mantra path of skillful means. In all things, abstain from clamor, recklessness, and coarse behavior, Without attachment to fame, gain, or possessions. With the confidence of not deceiving oneself, Act mindfully, in accordance with the meaning of the Buddhas' words. Ema! That great sound called "Fruition," Is not something that has never existed before, nor does it come from elsewhere. Rather, adventitious stains of relative truth are naturally purified, And seeing in the unobstructed awareness of self-knowing is labeled "Fruition." When delusion is cleared away, body and wisdom increase, That is what is called "Buddha." When the diligent one completes the practice of Dzogchen, And is freed from the dangers of hope and fear, that is Fruition. Thus, if view, meditation, conduct, and fruition are summarized, View is like the stars in the ocean, Let go of clinging to it, and do not engage in calculations. Meditation is like the expanse of vast sky, Let go of partiality and contrived meditation. Conduct is like the magical display of an illusory person, Let go of attachment, and rest in a natural, relaxed state. Fruition is like a great mountain, Let go of climbing, reliance, hope, and fear. The root of all secret mantra teachings is blessing, Blessing depends on the guru, cherish devotion. The foundation of the Great Vehicle is benefiting others with bodhicitta, cherish it. The life of the Dharma is samaya and vows, cherish them. The basis of the teachings is the union of the two accumulations, cherish it. The companion on the path of Dharma is diligence and perseverance, cherish them. Ema! In general, in acting according to the Dharma, Hoping for Buddhahood without keeping vows, Is like polishing coal and expecting to obtain the luster of a conch shell. Desiring to attain enlightenment without guarding cause and effect, Is like trying to extract butter from sand. Whatever virtuous deeds are done without pleasing the guru, Are like seedlings whose seeds have been burned by fire. Therefore, always treat the guru with respect. Thus, this instruction was given with the thought of benefiting those like myself, Who are foolish and lack experience, Especially combining the words of the Buddhas, the instructions of the accomplished ones, And the oral instructions of the root guru, And in accordance with my own experiential practice, Not for the sake of gaining praise, fame, or worldly achievements from those who speak poorly and pretend to be wise. Thus, it is taught based on reason, scripture, And great instructions.
