Regarding how to accomplish even a small amount of altruism: With a strong aspiration in my heart that the general teachings of the Buddha, and in particular the Nyingma Vajrayana, and especially the precious teachings of explanation and practice of Je Tertön Chen Lama, may flourish and spread in all directions through all means. To achieve this, I made efforts to teach and listen to the best of my ability. First, I explained the "Fire Pattern" of the Grammar (Sanskrit: Kalāpa) to the monk Tarpa Lingpa. After that, I explained the Grammar to the spiritual friend Chakpa Chöpel and the monk Orgyen Paljor. Later, I offered the complete pattern and explanations of poetic meter to Zhabdrung Rinpoche, from which they spread widely. Therefore, the Yangchen Grammar (Sanskrit: Vyākaraṇa) was taught about five times, led by Zhabdrung Kunshe and others. Although I did not formally study arithmetic patterns, I helped others indirectly by opening up discussions and debates on prior knowledge. Therefore, I also had some altruistic involvement in the field of terminology. Mainly, I took on the duties of a Khenpo, and thus the number of ordained novices reached four hundred and forty-seven monks and one thousand two hundred and ninety-eight novices. Starting from the Iron Snake year, at the summer and winter Dharma gatherings of Gatsang Monastery, Zhabdrung Kunshe and many other lamas from various regions gathered about sixty diligent monks of Gatsang Monastery, and I gave them explanations of the Heart Essence Tantra, thereby generating learned wisdom in these aspiring individuals. Furthermore, I gave explanations of various texts such as the Three Vows, Prajñāpāramitā, Vinaya, etc., according to each individual's capacity. Successively, I bestowed empowerments of the Eight Heruka-Wrathful Deities, three general empowerments, one Great Bliss Gathering empowerment, four Yoga Root empowerments, three Secret Completion empowerments, four Anu Yoga empowerments, five Dongtrul empowerments, and the revealed treasures of tertöns such as Dorje Lingpa, Ratna Lingpa, Pema Lingpa, etc., upon many aspiring individuals from various places, including Gongzhul Rinpoche Ngawang Kunsang Dorje, Palri Tulku Thangdrok Tulku, Zangla Khar Tulku, Bonlung Tulku, Rongpa Dzogchen Tulku, and representatives of the Nabo lineage, among others.
