Holding purity in your heart, regard the one and only refuge, the all-encompassing wish-fulfilling jewel, the Guru himself, as your yidam. With unwavering devotion, rely solely on the king of prayers. From the Crystal Mountain of the Lama Gongdü Body Lineage, upon the immaculate ocean island where the lotus blooms, Padmasambhava, the Lotus Vajra Power, unstained by the womb, the consort Mandarava, who bestows the taste of bliss, is the supreme master of the dance of skillful means and wisdom, bliss and emptiness. He is the essence of the hearts of all the Buddhas combined. From his power, various emanations appear. As it is said. Visualize Guru Rinpoche and his retinue of heroes and dakinis as inseparable with love, and with prayers, inspire your mind-stream. Without abandoning the aspiration to receive empowerment and blessings again and again, practice the main session as much as you can. During the breaks between sessions, also regard all appearances as the play of the Lama, and train in pure perception and compassion, the mind of enlightenment. As a continuation of the previous text: Meditate on compassion and the mind of enlightenment, bless your own mind-stream, regard wherever you stay as the land of Oddiyana, bless all places, visualize the house as a palace, bless the dwelling place, regard all gatherings as deities, bless them as wisdom deities, regard food and drink as nectar, bless them as offerings. Thus, through the five blessings, you will attain mastery over both common and supreme accomplishments. Secondly, explaining according to the inner hidden meaning, there are three explanations: according to the path of liberation, according to the path of skillful means, and according to the essential instructions for combining the two. First, Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), representing the self-arisen wisdom, self-illuminating, the essence of the nature of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, is the first seed syllable of the heart, spoken first. "Oddiyana," is a special place where the secret mantra arises, therefore, in the context of the inner meaning, it should be understood that one's own mind is the place of the secret mantra. "Northwest" refers to being immersed in mud, etc., and also to being liberated from it. Therefore, here, the sound of "west" represents samsara, and the sound of "north" represents liberation. As it is said in the Nirvana Sutra: When the Tathagata was born, he took seven steps towards the west, indicating that the body free from birth, old age, and death is exhausted.

It is in order not to show (these). Taking seven steps to the north indicates liberation from all cycles of existence. It is like what was said. "Boundary" indicates not abiding in the extremes of samsara and nirvana. Although there is no specific designation of "boundary" in reality, it is like calling the path free from extremes the Middle Way. Therefore, this primordial, fundamental state of mind, unblemished by any faults or merits of samsara and nirvana, is shown as the general aspect of the object of view. How does one realize its nature without error? "Lotus" signifies the essence of the pure, empty nature of reality, the self-nature in which all signs of attachment are completely purified from the beginning, like a lotus, free from faults and not abiding anywhere. This essence is established as the object to be realized. The spontaneously luminous wisdom that realizes it is represented by the word "Gesar" (蕊, pistil), symbolizing that it blooms and shines even more, and is the vajra of the knowing consciousness. These two, inseparable like a vajra, the wisdom of equality that realizes the inseparability of object and subject, is represented by the word "stem," which holds the lotus and pistil together. Thus, the union of reality and wisdom, although established as object and subject in the stages of manifestation, is not like the object existing first and then being realized by wisdom. Rather, reality and wisdom have been inseparably present from the beginning. The spontaneously arising great bliss wisdom is the nature of mind, or the original, luminous mind, which is the basis of all phenomena of samsara, nirvana, conditioned, and unconditioned. It is to be realized individually, free from all extremes of existence and non-existence, being and non-being, and beyond speech, thought, and expression. As it says in the Doha: Mind itself is the single seed of all, from which samsara and nirvana arise. It grants the fruit of desires. I prostrate to the mind like a wish-fulfilling jewel. And as it says in the Praise to the Mother: Beyond speech, thought, and expression, Prajnaparamita, unborn, unceasing, the very nature of space, the realm of self-aware wisdom, I prostrate to the mother of the Buddhas of the three times. And as it says in the Root Text of Self-Arisen Awareness: If you know the root of awareness, it is the trunk of all dharmas. And: Unborn and undying awareness is the dharma of

Meaning is definitely inconceivable. Thus it is said. From the Vajrasattva Sameness with Space Tantra: The mind-essence is self-born Vajra, Because it is unborn, it has no destruction. Gathering and dispersing, pure like space, This is the way of enlightenment that is taught. Thus it is said. From the Guhyagarbha Tantra: Separate from one and many, Without beginning, middle, or end, it is Suchness. Even the Buddhas do not see it, Self-born wisdom, appearing without a place. Thus it is said. From Hevajra: This wisdom is extremely subtle, Like the center of the Vajra-sky. Free from dust, it is the limit, peace itself. You yourself are also your own father.
