First, the outer marks are: the Buddha's mind is the four wisdoms: mirror-like wisdom, discriminating wisdom, accomplishing wisdom, and equanimity wisdom. Each of these is divided into four, thus there are sixteen powers of wisdom, which are the sixteen Bodhisattvas. Their objects are the sixteen powers of the sixteen realms of reality, which are the sixteen consorts, totaling thirty-two marks. The eighty deities who adorn the heads of the sixteen Bodhisattvas with the symbols of the five wisdoms, using the five families, are the eighty minor marks. Second, the inner marks are: the thirty-two channels of the crown chakra are the thirty-two marks. The sixty-four channels of the navel chakra, minus the four empty channels, leave sixty.

He sits in the vajra posture. The third is the symbolic meaning of possessing six wisdoms: It is indicated by the phrase, "The hand of six wisdoms, possessing the blazing mudra of wisdom jewels." As a symbol of possessing five self-born wisdoms and six wisdoms, he has six hands. As a symbol of performing benefit for beings, he holds six hand emblems. The five families are symbols of the five wisdoms, namely the five such as the vajra, and the bell, the symbol of the Dharmadhatu, thus holding six. The fourth is the symbolic meaning of realizing the three liberations, indicated by the phrase, "Possessing three inconceivable heads of body, speech, and mind." Body is emptiness, speech is signlessness, and mind is wishlessness. To symbolize these three, the heads appear as white on the right, red on the left, and blue in the center. The fourth is the perfection of the place, which is twofold: the nature of the place and the explanation of its essence. First, the nature of the place is indicated by the phrase, "In the Akaniṣṭha realm, which is without end or center." Its meaning is, as stated in the commentary, "Without end or center is the Dharmadhatu, this is considered the supreme of places." It is divided into five: the Akaniṣṭha of the Dharmadhatu meaning, the Akaniṣṭha of awareness, the Akaniṣṭha of secrecy, the Akaniṣṭha of the worldly place, and the Akaniṣṭha of the Great Powerful One. First, the Akaniṣṭha of meaning is known as the Dharmadhatu, because it does not fall under any conceptualization or characteristics. Second, the Akaniṣṭha of awareness refers to the self-aware wisdom that realizes the Dharmadhatu, because it does not fall under dualistic grasping. Third, the Akaniṣṭha of secrecy is explained as the space of the Mother, being the dwelling place of the secret body of the Teacher, and because it does not fall under conceptualization of signs. In other tantras, it is said to reside in the bhaga of Vajrayogini, which is what it refers to. Fourth, the Akaniṣṭha of the worldly place is the first of the five Pure Abode gods among the seventeen realms of the Form Realm, because it does not fall under the realm of form. Fifth, the Akaniṣṭha of the Great Powerful One refers to the great Akaniṣṭha, the dwelling place of the Sambhogakaya taught here, above the abandonment of the Pure Abodes. Second, the essence of the place is explained from "In the clear wheel of boundless wisdom" to "On the stainless lotus jewel seat."

And as a symbol of the inseparability of wisdom, the mandala self-appears as shapes and colors. Differentiating the qualities of the nature of that place, the Commentary says: "The mandala's base, material, and extent, shape, corner ornaments, apex, decorations, door frames, stairways, and characteristics, as well as the form of the seat," are eleven distinctions. First, the outer lower base of the mandala, as indicated by "the base manifests as a wheel of immeasurable wisdom," has the form of a wheel of immeasurable expanse symbolizing the five wisdoms; the inner lower base is compacted, as indicated by "the inner lower base is compacted," the inner lower base from the doors and courtyards to the center is compacted with individual standing vajras, which signifies transcendence over the lower vehicles. Second, the material, as indicated by "the mandala of blazing wisdom jewels," as a symbol of fulfilling the hopes of those to be tamed, the wisdom itself composed of various jewels self-appears as the shape and color of the mandala. Third, the extent of the range, as indicated by "the range is not limited in the ten directions," it is not limited in the ten directions, because it self-appears as pervading the boundless expanse of the dharmadhatu. Fourth, the shape, as indicated by "it becomes square for the increase of immeasurable qualities," the meaning is square, because the pervasiveness and increase of the Buddha's qualities are equal, so it self-appears as such. Fifth, the corner ornaments, as indicated by "adorned with corner ornaments of superior wisdom jewels," the meaning is the form of protrusions extending outward from the square, adorned with jewel corner ornaments of four different colors, symbolizing that each wisdom possesses four superior wisdoms. Sixth, the apex, as indicated by "the apex is the mandala of all the Buddhas of the ten directions and four times without remainder, all of which are not separate but are the gathering of wisdom of one essence," the meaning is immeasurable, and the shape is coiled in the form of a round vase, symbolizing that the wisdom of the dharmadhatu has no end and is free from elaboration. Seventh, the decorations, from "inconceivable wisdom" to "covered with inconceivable decorations," in general, there are seven types of decorations, the first being the decoration of the lower base.

The second is the decoration of desirable qualities, that is, the goddesses of the five desirable qualities such as Form Vajra Mother are spread in all directions, meaning that those who have not abandoned the five desirable qualities, completely perfect them as decorations. Third, the top decoration is that on top of the central round vase, on top of the bulge symbolizing the measuring vessel, a lotus is placed on top of a thirteen-tiered wheel, and the wheel is decorated with a jewel umbrella and a vajra jewel top.
