That is the nature of realization, entering into the Vajra Samadhi, or the Samadhi that manifests this mandala, etc. Then, by what cause did Vajrapani speak through the power of the Buddha, the blessings of all Buddhas, and the blessings of all Bodhisattvas? The nature of the dharani, the basis is the nature of the mind, wisdom, and vajra. From the Vajra Wrathful One arose the four deities, such as the Vajra Fierce One. Or it is said that the blessings and compassion of the deities of the mandala, the Vajra Wrathful Ones, etc., manifest as mantras. The special point is that this Vajra Essence is profoundly spoken, or it is said that it is spoken by Vajra Essence, Vajrapani is explained as Vajra Essence. Its special qualities are the seven dharmas of the vajra: inconceivable or unbreakable by demons, etc., becoming the root.

Unbreakable by words or the distinction of appearances, truly real in a way that is not inverted. Solid because it is not fabricated; stable because it is not impermanent. Unobstructed in all places by the wisdom of omniscience, possessing the four fearlessnesses, or unsurpassed by anything, hence undefeated in all ways. This is similar to the external vajra and the seven qualities, namely, hard, stable, having a core, without emptiness, indivisible, indestructible, and imperishable, therefore it is called vajra. Thus, the vajra is explained. Subjugation is explained from this point onwards, that is, with wisdom, it frightens all sentient beings, demons, etc., who have the mind of grasping and being grasped, thereby abandoning the intention to harm. It completely shatters the pride of all those sentient beings, renders all curses cast by others ineffective, binds and suppresses the power of all mantras. When wisdom manifests, it destroys all causes of samsara or harmful mantras, etc. Moreover, it destroys all the actions done to oneself by other sentient beings, eliminates all the evil spirits of non-humans and spirits, this above is the activity of annihilation. It liberates all those possessed by evil spirits, controls and summons all kinds of spirits with this mantra or wisdom vajra, and also allows one's own deity of the mantra lineage, etc., to perform all the activities one desires, such as pacification, etc., properly. It makes previously unaccomplished mantras accomplished through this, makes previously accomplished mantras not waste their fruits, completely bestows this mantra and any ultimate accomplishment one desires, protects all sentient beings from external and internal obstacles, pacifies diseases, etc., increases lifespan, wealth, etc., makes all harmful sentient beings stiff, etc., this is the fierce activity. Alternatively, stiffness and stupor both belong to the fierce activity. Thus, this great power of the secret mantra was well spoken by Vajrapani through the power of the Buddha. So, what is this secret mantra? Namo ra Ratna Trayaya (Tibetan, Devanagari, ratnatrayāya, Homage to the Three Jewels). Homage to the Three Jewels! Namah Shchanda Vajra Panaye (Tibetan, Devanagari, namaḥ caṇḍa-vajrapāṇaye, Homage to the Wrathful Vajrapani).
