For that purpose, please listen to the profound permission and practice the meaning accordingly. Please generate the supreme mind of enlightenment and listen. Furthermore, the teacher, the perfectly and completely enlightened Buddha himself, considering the thoughts, faculties, and latent tendencies of the disciples, spoke of the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, among which are the Perfection Vehicle and the Secret Mantra Vehicle. Here, it is the Secret Mantra Vehicle. Among them, there are four: the Action Tantra, the Performance Tantra, the Yoga Tantra, and the Unsurpassed Great Yoga Tantra. Here, it is the Action Tantra. Having purified the mind-stream in this way, please repeat this uncommon supplication three times: Great Vajradhara Lama, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, the seven Sugata Medicine Buddhas, please consider me, the teacher. All are wearing the three robes, adorned with reddish-brown kasayas, and seated in the vajra posture on a lotus and moon seat. Their bodies are adorned with marks and signs. Their speech possesses sixty qualities. Their minds know all that is knowable and the extent of it. With bodies adorned by circles of light, with the aspiration to regard each one as the path, prostrate, make offerings, and pray in sequence before each of the Sugatas. Please act in this way. I prostrate to, make offerings to, and take refuge in the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the King of Majesty whose name is auspicious and completely proclaimed. Just as the Tathagata King of Majesty whose name is auspicious and completely proclaimed made aspirations in the past, please bless me and all sentient beings to quickly attain them in an instant. Having prayed in this way, imagine that the Sugata whose name is auspicious melts into light and dissolves into the King of Sound. Similarly, at the beginning of each name, add: Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha. Adorned with jewels, moon, and lotus, the wise and glorious King of Sound. Pure gold, stainless, precious light, accomplished ascetic, diligent. Without sorrow, immaculate, auspicious. The sound of the ocean of Dharma's fame. The King who knows the ocean of Dharma, the supreme intellect, and the skillful play. The Medicine Guru, King of Lapis Lazuli Light. In this way, add the prostrations, offerings, and prayers to each name. Apply the method of dissolving the higher into the lower, and so on. Finally, having prayed in this way, imagine that the Sugata, the Medicine Guru, melts into light and dissolves from the crown of your heads through the Brahma's aperture, and that the light itself purifies all your diseases, evil spirits, and obscurations. The remaining excrement and urine, and from the soles of your feet, are expelled like black smoke, and your body becomes like a pure crystal. From within that state, in an instant, you are born on a lotus and moon seat, as the Medicine Buddha, etc.

From the heart of the teacher, inconceivable rays of light emanate, inviting countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, who dissolve into the crown of your heads. Again, from the heart of the teacher, including the visualized teacher in front, invite the Medicine Buddha assembly, as large as Mount Meru, as small as dust particles, immeasurable, dissolving from the crown of your heads and pores like butter, dissolving into the Hūṃ in your heart without duality, and develop the conviction that your being is blessed. Recite Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ) repeatedly and ring the bell. To stabilize this, place a flower on your head. Recite: Tadyathā. Oṃ Bhaiṣajye, etc. This is the subsequent permission of blessing. For the purpose of mantra permission, visualize the syllable Hūṃ with a mantra garland in the heart of the teacher. Visualize yourselves as Medicine Buddhas, and on the moon disc in your heart, visualize a single Hūṃ. Because of the reverence that the teacher is the actual Medicine Buddha, a mantra garland arises from the Hūṃ syllable in the teacher's heart. It comes out of the mouth. It enters your mouth. Visualize the mantra garland circling clockwise around the Hūṃ syllable in your heart, and then repeat these two mantras three times. Recite the two mantras. Having recited in this way, believe that the first blesses the continuum, the second makes it inseparable, and the third stabilizes it, then scatter flowers to the teacher and repeat this three times. Bhagavan, please hold me! Bhagavan, please bless me! Three times. After praying in this way, the teacher also places a flower garland as a mantra on your head, and visualize the blessing. Bhagavan, please grant this! Bhagavan, please lead this! May all the secret mantra blessings of the Medicine Buddha and retinue enter the being of the Vajra student! Saying this, scatter flowers.
