Relying on the illusory body of the bardo, one arises in a form like the illusion of the bardo. Finally, in the bardo of craving and rebirth, abandoning the evil womb doors and choosing the good ones, one is born as a vessel capable of practicing the profound Dharma, continuing the unfinished path, and therefore it is also called the interrupted connection of the bardo path. Second, the explanation of the meaning is: there are various ways of counting the six dharmas, but here it is: Tummo, bliss-heat self-igniting; illusory body, eight dharmas self-liberating; clear light, dispelling the darkness of ignorance; dream, delusion self-awakening; transference, becoming a Buddha without meditation; bardo, uniting with the Sambhogakaya of the Victorious Ones, making six. The venerable Rechungpa blended desire into great bliss as Tummo, blended non-attachment into non-reality as the illusory body, and blended ignorance into non-conceptual clear light. He practiced Tummo and the illusory body during the day, practiced dream and clear light at night, and practiced bardo and transference at the time of death. For the diligent, he blended with Tummo; for the lazy, he blended with dream; for the short-lived, he blended with transference, thus forming the practice of nine cycles of blending and transference. This is what the master Marpa Lotsawa said in his song collection: From the gatekeeper Naropa Pandit, I heard the profound Guhyasamaja Tantra, and obtained the oral instructions on the combination of blending and transference. The way yogis practice constantly is: the way the protector of beings, Pal Phagmo Drupa, bestowed the six dharmas to the protector of beings, Taklung Thangpa, to practice on a single cushion is called the practice of uniting the four key instructions, that is: striking the key points of Tummo, and abiding in the state of the great seal of clear light. In the state of knowing all dharmas to be unreal like dreams, one meditates on the self-aware deity as an illusory body. Thus, one practices day and night in a cycle, and must possess four key points: not lying down, the key point of sitting cross-legged. 1, not leaving the seat, the key point of the meditation belt. 2, wearing, the key point of clothing. 3, secret, the key point of speech. 4, the experiences and realizations that arise in one's own mind-stream from the Dharma taught by the guru, before they are perfected and completed, are the four key points of secrecy. Thus, the so-called profound path of the Six Dharmas of Naropa is the six dharmas consisting of the four root dharmas and the two branch dharmas. If one practices them with diligence, then in the navel emanation wheel, the prana and the bodhicitta are stabilized, and the state of awakening arises.

If the five sense consciousnesses awaken in the wisdom of accomplishment, and the body is adorned with marks and examples, the vajra body will manifest. Likewise, since the heart is stable in the Dharma wheel, the co-emergent ignorance of the deep sleep state is purified. The base consciousness awakens in mirror-like wisdom, and the Dharma body heart vajra is obtained. Since the throat is stable, the dream state is purified. The sixth consciousness awakens in discriminating wisdom, and the speech vajra is manifested. Since the crown of the head is stable, the extremely subtle habit of transference in the state of attachment is purified, and the seventh consciousness awakens in the wisdom of equality, and the body of great bliss is obtained. As the Hevajra Tantra says: Because the emanation abides in a stable place, that is the emanation body itself. As it is said. This is how the Six Dharmas Prayer should be explained, at the request of Karma Namdrol Zangpo, the realized one of Tsagang Bangri (Mtshar-sgang bang-ri), written by the Khenpo Mingpa, the Vinaya holder with the green hat of the Dakpo Kagyu (Dwags-brgyud), may the blessings of the lineage-holding lamas enter the minds of worthy disciples. Sarva Mangalam! Even though possessing all the desired enjoyments, do not accumulate; even though having many attendants, do not be attached. The three trainings and the pitaka are the treasury of wisdom, placing renunciation and reading in the center of the heart. This was also written by the Dzogchen Khenpo Karma Ngedon Sungrap Tenpai Gyaltsen, during a meditation session in Khading Cave (mkha’ lding phug), may auspiciousness increase! Sarva Mangalam! Commentary on the Prayer of the Six Dharmas: Tummo, the Great Bliss Bindu.
