It should be known to possess merits. The second aspect also has two: elaborating on the reasons for profundity, and explaining the reasons for the latter. The first of these has three: generally showing the way of inconceivability, elaborating on the distinctions, and combining the reasons with examples. The first is: The realm of all-knowing wisdom, Because the three knowledges of the Buddha are not the realm, Those with wisdom should realize That it is inconceivable. As it is said, the enlightenment of the Buddha, which is the sole object of all-knowing wisdom, is not the object of the three wisdoms arising from hearing, etc. Therefore, the ultimate body of wisdom, other than the Buddha, cannot truly recognize this as an inconceivable quality, or rather, sentient beings with wisdom, lower noble ones, should know that it is inconceivable. The second is: Because it is subtle, it is not an object of hearing, Because it is ultimate truth, it is not an object of thought, Because the nature of reality is profound, worldly meditation, etc., is not an object. As it is said, the Buddha of ultimate truth is extremely subtle and difficult to realize, so it is not an object of wisdom arising from hearing. Similarly, the truth of ultimate truth is to be realized by each self-aware wisdom, so it is not wisdom arising from thought, and because the nature of reality, suchness, is profound and difficult to fathom, all consciousnesses such as wisdom arising from worldly meditation are not its object. The third is: Why is it like a blind man not seeing color, A child has never seen it before, A young child living at home, Like seeing sunlight, even the noble ones. As it is said, what is the reason why it is so difficult to realize? Just as blind people have never seen various colors, all beings, because they have never directly seen the stainless suchness, just as a newborn child living at home, although they can see a little sunlight, they cannot see it completely, the bodhisattva noble ones of the ten grounds.

Even by residing in the lotus womb, one can directly see the Dharmakaya to a small extent, but because one cannot fully and directly see it. Second, there are three reasons for explaining the latter: the qualities of immutability, the qualities of abandonment and realization, and the qualities of purity. The first is: 'Because it is separated from birth, it is permanent; because there is no cessation, it is stable; because it is without duality, it is peaceful; because it abides in the Yungdrung nature of reality.' It is said that the stainless Buddha is endowed with the quality of permanence because it is separated from arising from causes and conditions from the beginning. Because there is no birth, there is no cessation, therefore it is endowed with the quality of stability. Because the two, birth and cessation, do not cause peace, the Buddha is endowed with the quality of peace. Therefore, it is endowed with the quality of Yungdrung, because the nature of reality, by its very nature, abides from the beginning and is immutable. The second is: 'Because of the truth of complete pacification and cessation, because all is realized, it is pervasive. Because there is no abiding, there is no realization; because afflictions are abandoned, there is no attachment. Because all obscurations of knowledge are purified, there is no obstruction in all things. Because of non-duality and capability, it is free from coarse touch.' It is said that the Bodhi of the Buddha is endowed with the quality of great bliss, which is the complete pacification of all suffering, because the ultimate truth of cessation, in which all that should be abandoned has ceased, has been directly realized. Similarly, because all aspects of knowable things are directly realized, it is endowed with the quality of pervasiveness over all knowable things of the all-knowing wisdom. Because there is no abiding in any object or sign, it is endowed with the quality of non-realization of the all-knowing wisdom. These are the distinctions between bliss and realization. Furthermore, because the obstacles to liberation, the obscurations of afflictions together with their imprints, have been abandoned, it has the quality of non-attachment to the meaning of suchness. Because all the obscurations of knowledge, which are obstacles to omniscience, are completely purified, it has the quality of being unobstructed in all things with respect to the meaning of suchness. Because there is no obstacle of equanimity such as sinking and excitement, the body and mind are soft and
