Ah, the All-pervading One! Because it is subtle, it does not cling. Likewise, for all sentient beings, this place does not cling. Thus it is said. For example, the unconditioned space pervades all conditioned forms, although it is all-pervading, it is subtle, because it is not a coarse form. Because of the faults of form, such as impermanence, it never clings. Similarly, for all sentient beings, the clear light Dharmadhatu, which abides pervading as the nature of mind, this Tathagatagarbha is also naturally pure, therefore, the faults of sentient beings, such as afflictions, never cling. The second is: Just as in all the worlds, in the sky they are born and perish. Likewise, in the unconditioned realm, the senses are born and perish. Thus it is said. Just as, all the external container worlds, in all circumstances, rely on the openness of the sky, and at first appear to arise and eventually perish. Likewise, the unconditioned Dharmadhatu wisdom, which is not caused by causes and conditions, relies on the aggregates, realms, and sources represented by the senses of sentient beings, which at first arise and eventually appear to perish. However, the Dharmata Tathagatagarbha does not have arising and ceasing. The third is: Just as the sky is never burned by fires. Likewise, this is not burned by the fire of death, sickness, and old age. Thus it is said. For example, even if conditioned things are burned by the three fires of the end of time, hell, and nature, the unconditioned sky is never burned by all three fires. Likewise, even if sentient beings are burned by the three fires of death, etc., the essence of Dharmadhatu, this Tathagatagarbha, is never burned by the fire of death at the end of time, the fire of sickness in hell, and the fire of old age. Fourth, the detailed explanation of dependent origination has three points. Showing the way of arising by combining examples and meanings. Explaining the essence of being free from extremes and without defilement. Summarizing the examples and meanings of arising and ceasing. The first point has four parts. Example. Meaning. Combining the two. The way of arising. The first is: Earth depends on water, water on wind, wind on space, space on wind.

It says, "Water, etc., do not abide in the earth element." This means that when the world is formed and exists, the great earth mandala relies on the water mandala, water relies on the wind mandala, and wind completely abides in space. Although it relies, space does not abide in wind, water, etc., and the earth element, because space does not depend on causes and conditions. The second is, it says, "Likewise, aggregates, realms, and sources, abide in karma and afflictions. Karma and afflictions are not according to reason, they always abide in attention. Unreasonable attention, greatly abides in the purity of the mind. The nature of the mind, all phenomena, also do not abide in anything." This means that, like the example shown, the five aggregates, the eighteen realms, the six defiled sense sources, and the six objects, all abide in karma and afflictions. Karma and afflictions are unreasonable attention, such as clinging to self, and always abide in unreasonable attention. Unreasonable attention completely abides in the purity of the mind, which is naturally luminous. However, the luminous nature of the mind does not abide in all temporary phenomena, because the luminous nature of the mind is unconditioned. The third is, it says, "Like the earth element, one should know the aggregates, sources, and realms. Like the water element, one should know the karma and afflictions of embodied beings. Unreasonable attention, should be viewed like the wind element. The nature is like the space element, it has no basis and does not abide." This means that, just as the earth mandala is formed by relying on water, one should know that the five aggregates with grasping, the twelve sources, and the eighteen realms are accomplished by relying on karma and afflictions. Just as the water element becomes the cause for the accomplishment of the earth mandala, one should know that the defiled karma and afflictions of embodied beings are the cause for the accomplishment of the aggregates, sources, and realms. Unreasonable attention, because it can arouse karma and afflictions, should be viewed and understood as the wind element becomes the support of the water mandala. The nature of the mind
