Therefore, it is the inconceivable meaning of Bodhi. The ultimate qualities, completely without distinction from all afflictions and the state of individual beings, exist in the nature of reality. However, until Buddhahood is attained, they do not manifest because they cannot produce power, so it is the inconceivable meaning of qualities. Without effort, spontaneously accomplished, and continuously without interruption at all times, fulfilling wishes in accordance with the capacity of those to be tamed, and without conceptualization such as "to do this, to do that," it is the inconceivable meaning of activity. It seems like two contradictions gather on one basis. In reality, there is no contradiction, because the essence of the realm with defilements is emptiness, which is completely pure. Impurity is due to sudden defilements, and the absence before is because defilements are not the nature of the realm. Later purification refers to the removal of defilements like impurities from gold. Even if it is absent in the state of ordinary beings, later when defilements are completely purified, it is possessed in a way that there is no distinction in the nature of reality. In the state of ordinary beings, there are no qualities because of the impurity of defilements, but later when defilements are purified, qualities exist in a way that is inseparable from the nature of reality. For example, gold does not have light in the state of unpurified impurities, but later light becomes inseparable. As for activity, it will be explained with nine examples in the following chapter. The fourth is: What is realized and the realization of it, the limb is the cause of realization, the order is as it dwells in one, the three purifications are the conditions. It is said. Thus, these four places of meaning also encompass all that is to be known. Among them, the realm with defilements is the place to be realized. Bodhi free from defilements is the place of the essence of realization itself. The qualities related to Bodhi are the place of the limb of realization. Its power, activity, is also the meaning of the place where others realize that realm. Therefore, these four places, according to the order, dwell in one place, that is, the Tathagatagarbha with defilements is the cause of purification, that is to say.

Because the Three Jewels arise from perfect purity. The latter three are the causes of purification. Secondly, to explain the individual nature of the four places, there are four: the realm to be realized, the realization of enlightenment, the qualities of the limbs, and the activities to be performed. The first of these is to explain the nature of the realm, which has four aspects: a brief indication of the meaning of the realm, a detailed explanation of the intention, an illustration of purifying defilements while the nature remains unchanged, and the necessity of explaining the realm. The first is: The perfect Buddha body is radiant, and the suchness is inseparable, and because all sentient beings have the lineage, they always have the essence of the Buddha. It is said that the Dharmakaya of the complete Buddha is because it radiates and pervades all dharmas, and because the dharmata of all samsara and nirvana is such that there is no difference, and because the Tathagata's lineage, the dharmadhatu, is naturally pure, and sentient beings who have the ability to purify obscurations all have it, therefore all sentient beings have the essence of the ultimate Buddha constantly from the beginning. As it is said in the sutra, the Blessed One said: All sentient beings always have the essence of the Tathagata. As it is said. To this, Ngok Lotsawa said in order: The Tathagatagarbha of fruit, nature, and cause. The first Dharmakaya is the Tathagata himself, and the essence of sentient beings is hypothetical, because sentient beings can obtain it, so it is said to be pervasive. The second is the real essence of both the Tathagata and sentient beings, and from the aspect of suchness and self-nature purity, both are truly existent. The third, because it is the cause of the Tathagata, it is established as the Tathagatagarbha, and the essence of sentient beings is real. Here, the noble Asanga said: In short, with three meanings, the Blessed One said that all sentient beings have the essence of the Tathagata. Because the Buddha's wisdom enters the sentient beings, the self-nature is immaculate and inseparable, and because the Buddha's lineage is the proximate cause, it is said that all beings have the Buddha-nature. Those three meanings in every way with what meaning All scriptures
