The joyful one. The enemy's body is completely crushed. The speech of the ten syllables is arranged. The wisdom Tara arises from Hūṃ. This means that the goddess Tara, who arises from the root mantra of ten syllables and the seed syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), is surrounded by bodhisattvas who possess joyful minds, and completely crushes the bodies of enemies who harm sentient beings. Seventeenth verse. The seventeenth is: Homage to Ture whose feet stamp, Whose seed is the form of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), Sumeru, Mandara, and Vindhya, All three worlds tremble. This means that the goddess Ture or Swift One, whose seed syllable is Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), stamps her two feet, causing the king of mountains, Mount Sumeru, Mount Mandara, and Mount Vindhya, along with the three worlds, i.e., below the earth, on the earth, and above the earth, to tremble. Eighteenth verse. The eighteenth is: Homage to her who has the form of a divine lake, Who holds the mark of a deer in her hand, By uttering twice Tāra and the syllable Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phaṭ), She removes all poisons without exception. This means that the goddess who holds a white, round moon like a divine lake in her hand, her wisdom mantra, uttering Tāra twice and adding the syllable Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phaṭ) at the end, removes all poisons of the animate and inanimate. Nineteenth verse. The nineteenth is: Homage to the queen of the hosts of gods, Who is served by gods and kinnaras, With the splendor of armor of joy, She dispels disputes and bad dreams. This means that the goddess whose lotus feet are respectfully served by the hosts of desire gods and human kings, and by the gods residing in earth, water, trees, etc., and by kinnaras, etc., if she is regarded as the yidam deity and wears armor, then with the majesty of abiding in all joy and bliss, she dispels the disputes and bad dreams of others. Twentieth verse. The twentieth is: Homage to her whose eyes, like the sun and moon, Are exceedingly clear with light, By uttering twice Hara and Tuttāra, She dispels even the most violent epidemics. This means that the goddess whose two eyes radiate light, burning away sins and sufferings, and increasing life, merit, and wealth, her wisdom mantra, uttering twice Hara, i.e., Om Namah Tāre Namo Hare Hūṃ Hare Svāhā, and the mantra of Tuttāra, if recited, can heal

It also eliminates severe infectious diseases that are difficult to endure. Twenty-first Verse. The twenty-first verse is: Homage to her who arranges those three, Endowed with the power of pacification, Destroys demons, zombies, and yaksha hosts, Ture, supreme and most excellent. This means that for sentient beings to be tamed, she arranges the path of the three realities—without cause, without result, and emptiness of essence—thereby leading them to liberation, the permanent pacification of suffering, and possessing this power. The goddess who swiftly destroys all fierce demons, zombies, yakshas, and so on is the most supreme of all the yidam deities. Since this text belongs to the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra, there are various explanations of mantras, but considering that it is difficult for the minds of us inferior ones to comprehend, we have made do with just a rough explanation of the meaning of the words. Benefits. Statement of the Name. The second is the benefit, which has two parts: the statement of the name and the actual benefit. The first is: This praise is with the root mantra, The prostrations are twenty-one. That is to say, the root mantra is ten syllables: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ओṃ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā,汉语字面意思:嗡,救度者,速救度者,大救度者,梭哈!), meaning Tara rescues from suffering and establishes the foundation. This is also the praise through this mantra, and this is also the praise with twenty-one prostrations. Actual Benefits. Benefits of Approaching as a Deity. The second has three parts: the benefits of approaching as a deity, the benefits of remembering the vidya mantra, and the benefits of reciting the tantra. The first is: Whoever with devotion to the goddess, The intelligent one who speaks well, Having risen at dusk and dawn, By remembering, bestows all fearlessness, All sins are completely pacified, Indeed, destroys all bad migrations. By seven million Buddhas, Empowerment will be quickly bestowed, Obtaining what is greater than this, Goes to the ultimate state of Buddhahood. This means that those who have faith, diligence, and wisdom, by remembering the qualities of body, speech, and mind, recite this praise at dusk and dawn. If one practices the Noble Tara, one will obtain the state of fearlessness, power, and perfect abundance, and all causes of sin and non-virtue will be completely pacified.
