At the foot of the mountain, starting from the pig, with limbs possessing iron hooves, abandoning habits with the power of goodness, extremely majestic and sounding together, the incomparable drumbeat reverberates upwards, this excellent one among the black livestock adorned with ornaments, I offer this as your support, please accept it with joy. And so on, as before, this applies to all offerings. When offering a ewe: the thick wool that certainly matches the touch of the divine object Kashmir, the horns of skillful means and wisdom born excellently from the head that holds the power of a striking hammer, coiling and swirling like the rings adorning the hands of the glorious goddess, the comfortable sound of joy, this excellent one among all ewes adorned with ornaments, I offer this as your support, please accept it with joy. And so on. When offering a ram: adorned with golden lotuses and sapphires, the viewer as beautiful as the ornaments, the two horns erected upwards and striking each other, soft and triple-curved like young vines, the abundant curly wool from afar, resembling the shape of a fierce hailstorm falling, the great power of unimpeded skill, this is the chief of rams, adorned with ornaments, I offer this as your support. When offering a black dog: fangs like a half-moon accompanied by twilight rays, smeared with safflower juice, a tongue that shines like lightning in between, manifesting and destroying enemies, emitting fierce roars and anger, claws sharpened from extracted meteoric iron, able to tear the earth, bear-like eye medicine color, the fierce protector of wealth, this adorned with ornaments, I offer this as your support. And so on. This was written by the Shakya monk Dharmeshvara at the request of his nephew Karma Chosid, in order to make it meaningful. By offering worldly wealth, may the gods be pleased, clouds gather densely, auspiciousness and all accomplishments rain down, may the essence of jewels (232) become virtuous. This is also part of the great Gar offering, the offering maker is Kachyab Dorje, the title holder of Karmapa.
