I am born without autonomy, and I see all of the container and its contents clearly day and night. I can travel unhindered through rocks and mountains, and I can move about in the sky like a bird. The Tathagata extends his hand to bestow empowerment and prophecy. I know how to teach the Dharma to all beings, I can see the world of containers and contents, I can see the bodhisattva grounds, I can see the three thousand worlds as if they were in the palm of my hand, and I can clearly see their nature. I can use samadhi and be unhindered by anything. And I am instructed, 'Son of the royal family, do such and such!' Brahma and Indra and others will come to make offerings in person.' This is what is said. Furthermore, how does the demon seek opportunities? They seek opportunities by disguising themselves as Dharma. They make you think that nothing is needed, that you are not attached to any of the things of the world, and that suddenly faith and compassion arise, and that you are even weary of samsara. Without regard for your own life, you wander aimlessly, not knowing what to do, and you wander around in all directions without knowing where to go. Most of these actions are also caused by demons. As Parphuwa said: 'Not attached to worldly dharmas, not looking at one's own life, wandering around not knowing what to do, wandering around in all directions without knowing where to go, these are mostly the deeds of demons.' Therefore, if one correctly understands the essence of emptiness of emptiness, even if inconceivable experiences and miracles such as the qualities of the six perfections arise, pride and conceit will not arise, because the basis of pride and conceit is the realization of emptiness, which is free from elaboration. In this way, one can completely transcend the realm of demons. In the Sutra of the Manifestations of Holy Manjushri it says: 'Son of the gods, as much as actions arise, that much is the work of demons. As much as desire arises, as much as wrong views arise, and as much as attachment arises, that much is the work of demons. As much as desire arises, as much as conceit arises, and as much as complete realization arises, that much is the work of demons. Son of the gods, furthermore, attachment to bodhisattvas is also the work of demons.'

Moreover, clinging to the mind of generosity is also the work of demons. Clinging to the minds of discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom is also the work of demons. To become arrogant through generosity, to hold discipline as supreme, to grasp patience, to take up diligence, to have signs in meditation, and to have wisdom flowing are the works of demons. Thus it is said. Therefore, all the obstacles of demons arise from clinging to reality and names, but if one is free from all clinging to reality and names, then one will surely be liberated from all things of samsara, thereby obtaining pure renunciation. When such realization is attained, all the roots of virtue of fabricated dharmas are also accomplished in their respective places, so they are abandoned like discarding filth. In order to be free from arrogance in experience and to transcend the realm of demons, study well. 115
