The connection of the treatise. The connection of the treatise. Secondly, to actually explain the Dharma to be explained, including the connection of the treatise, the actual treatise, and the mention of the author's name and the translator's name of the treatise. The first part includes the meaning of the title, the prostration to the desired deity, and the explanation of the necessary connection of the treatise. The first part includes the translation of the title, the explanation, what it is named after, and the necessity of naming it. Firstly: In the Indian language: མP་མ་ཀ་ཨ་བ་ཏཱ་ར་ནཱ་མ། (Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: ). In Tibetan: Called "Entering the Middle Way". Among the four Indian languages, this treatise is written in Sanskrit (page 33a). When translated into Tibetan, the Sanskrit word "Madhyamaka" is "Middle Way", "Avatara" is "Entering", "Karika" is "Verse", and "Nama" is "Called". The second part includes the meaning to be expressed and the Middle Way of the words to be expressed. The first part is: All these dharmas are merely aggregates of causes and conditions in the conventional truth, and the names and terms established based on this are merely hypothetical. But in the ultimate truth, or in reality, there is no limit to any proliferation of existence or non-existence, arising or ceasing, etc. Even the word "Middle" is separated from existence and non-existence, which is called the Middle Way of the union of the two truths of the basis. After understanding the tenets of the two truths in this way, one understands that the conventional truth is merely a name, and because all dharmas are free from arising, etc., one knows that one is free from all false imputation and diminution, and at the same time, in the illusory mother of dependent arising, which is boundless, one studies the great compassion of illusory dependent arising, and the two accumulations gathered by the six perfections led by it, like illusory dependent arising and space. This is the path, the Middle Way of the union of the conventional and ultimate Bodhicitta. The fruit of studying in this way is that the light of the ultimate Bodhicitta reaches its extreme, thereby cutting off the connection between the manifestation of the three obscurations and the seeds of evil destinies, being separated from all proliferation, and attaining the state of the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit. Moreover, the light of the conventional Bodhicitta reaches its extreme, and in front of the infinite sentient beings to be tamed like space, (page 33b) the activities of body, speech, and mind that are suitable for them continue until samsara is empty.

In the space between the earth, spontaneously accomplishing without effort, mastering the unfolding of activities such as turning the wheel of Dharma, and attaining the state of the form body for the benefit of others, this is called the Madhyamaka that unites the Dharmakaya and Rupakaya as the fruit. Secondly, the Sugata himself clearly reveals to others the reality of the two truths of knowable objects, thereby unerringly indicating what to adopt and abandon. The scriptures that serve as indicators are taught in accordance with the dispositions of the disciples. Whatever additions or subtractions are made by one's own or others' schools regarding the principles of the two truths of the ground, path, and fruit, these are refuted with scripture and reason, and their true meaning is explained as it is. In the treatises of the great teacher Nagarjuna and his son, such as the Root Verses on the Middle Way, these are supremely renowned as the explanatory Madhyamaka treatises. Furthermore, how do these great chariots who pioneered the profound and vast Madhyamaka path, such as the venerable Nagarjuna, explain the meaning of the Tathagata's Madhyamaka scriptures with infallible noble wisdom and fearless speech? When explaining the Madhyamaka scriptures that are common to the vehicles, which are mostly interpretable and have hidden meanings, by properly explaining their hidden meanings, one causes people to realize that the Tathagata's teachings have no internal contradictions and are not harmed by reason, thereby increasing unwavering faith in the omniscient teacher and causing it to grow continuously. When explaining the Madhyamaka scriptures that are uncommon to the Mahayana (34a), which are definitive and do not have hidden meanings, by properly explaining their literal meaning, one easily generates faith in the definitive meaning in those who are fortunate, thereby guiding them into the vast path of infallibility. Madhyamikas also have two types of individuals: those who have an intellectual acceptance of the view and those who have realization arising in their continuum. The first is to follow in the footsteps of the venerable Nagarjuna and to develop intellectually regarding the doctrine that proclaims that all knowable objects are without inherent existence. The second is, according to the view of the Madhyamakavatara, to be in complete agreement with the noble individuals of the three vehicles, such as including the abiding in the nature of reality on the path of joining that arises from meditation in the Mahayana. Intellectual acceptance of the view and real
