What is there that I cannot give away of all that belongs to me? I should be very happy to give. Alas! This being, deluded by the illusory tricks of the ignorant demon, wanders helplessly again and again in the wilderness of samsara. When they hold me in their womb and nurture me in due time, they look upon me as if I were a piece of their heart, and attend to me with all the wealth they possess. Such abundant and loving mothers, they themselves never have the opportunity to give away, but are robbed by the power of birth and death. All sentient beings in the ten directions desire happiness just as I do, yet they abandon happiness because of ignorance. Alas! I see my mothers. Having been bound by love for a long time, they die from the suffering of separation. Even when they meet now, they unknowingly scold. Their minds are disturbed by the demon of intoxication, and diseases of resentment and other sufferings always dwell in their hearts. How can mothers not be destroyed by decline? Wandering in the helpless samsara, enduring long and unbearable suffering, whose heart would not be filled with love for all these beings who were once relatives? Therefore, towards all sentient beings, not only should there be no anger, but one should cultivate extreme love, like a mother towards her beloved child. I need to be nurtured by them. Even if they gain a little happiness, I become angry. Alas! By whom is my mind deluded? The wealth and prosperity of others do not take anything away from me. Even if they do not have it, I cannot gain any share from it. Even if they all become Buddhas who have perfected the ocean of qualities, my merit will not be diminished. Why should I be jealous of them? Even if they arrogantly oppress me with wealth, wealth is the fruit of good deeds. Arrogance will destroy them themselves, therefore they also deserve compassion. Even above this flawed person, there are many who possess qualities. I am not jealous of all of them, why should I be jealous of this inferior person? Inferior and virtuous ones are infinite in this world. Who can regard whom as inferior? Jealousy will destroy my merit. Therefore, towards the perfection of others, not only should there be no jealousy, but one should cultivate extreme joy and happiness, like a poor person finding a great treasure. If I think I am superior to others because of my own qualities, it is because I originally had no qualities, but they arose temporarily due to external conditions. I am composed of causes and conditions, and am subject to causes and conditions. Others are also the same. This person is even more... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who can prevent holding glories? The continuum of beings is oneself, Since it is not directly perceived, it is also the same here, There is no merit greater than oneself, and what measure is there? I possess such as arrogance, The faults of the assembly of afflictions, The ocean of samsara, the nature of birth and death, Powerlessly drifting in the waves of suffering. The nature of compounded things is temporary, This merit is also by other causes, It is a dharma that is easy to decay, Why does pride arise in me? Like the fragrance of a flower to sesame, Merit begins in anyone, But because it is mixed with the stain of leakage, What is there in me that is pleasing? Where there are caste, appearance, wealth, etc., All merits are even better, Hundreds of thousands of kotis of surpassing, Compared to the ordinary, I am the lowest. If one abides with equanimity, Those who are without fault and possess merit, How can my mind, which has many faults and is Slandered by arrogance, be proud? If my continuum, with small merits, Arises with pride, Why not consider my continuum extremely low, Because it abides in many faults? If the stain of arrogance is completely absent, Then I am also the supreme one, But because I have arrogance at this time, Who is lower than me? The stream of selflessness, compounded, aggregates, Holds the existence of things from causes, Therefore, even if merit is equal to space, What is there for me to be proud of? If there is pride, etc., Knowing that you are lower than everything, Like a tamed noble horse, Cultivate the behavior of respecting everyone. Thus, for the way of abiding in the two truths, With the definite understanding of discernment, Repeatedly practice, Thereby purifying the deception of clinging to appearances. Although it is emptiness, it is also by all causes, The city of existence is transformed, Without examination, it has a pleasing state, Practice with the metaphor of illusion. Mañjuśrī, great light of wisdom, In the manner of a lamp of mantra, Certainly illuminate in the heart, May you burn the thicket of obscurations. Thus, Mañjuśrī, the hero's, With the wisdom sword born of compassion, Cut through the five illusions of the demon, And the demon of self-grasping afflictions, Will not arise again anywhere, Even the embers of what arose before, In a state that no longer exists, When killing in a way of completely killing, In the manner of destroying a house, The son of the gods demon will also collapse. Like a sprout burning seeds, The aggregate demon will also cease, Like a lamp with exhausted oil, The Lord of Death demon will also... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
