With the earth as the object, join palms. May the complete Buddhas and their sons, the hosts of gods such as Brahma, forgive any incomplete rituals. Recite the Vajrasattva mantra three times with clear tones. If possible, also perform a peaceful fire offering. Fifth, exhorting the patron: Gather auspicious substances in front of the teacher. Near it, on a well-arranged seat with beautiful flower bouquets, have the patron sit adorned in fine clothes and ornaments. Also gather the five offerings to be presented to the deity nearby. The teacher, disciples, and patron should partake of tsampa food together. Then say: 'Please partake of these remaining foods of the Sugatas, to purify sins.' And, 'Those special Buddha images that you have offered to me, I have consecrated them as instructed. I have done those things, those things are completed, please offer as you please, and serve with respect and care. The merit of serving the supreme object of offering is beyond words. Look, by offering seven mustard seeds to Vipashyin Buddha, I became a Chakravartin.' Similarly, the teacher said to Manjushri: 'My fourfold retinue, those who offer to me now, and those who offer to images with faith in the future, there is no difference in merit, the merit is equal, and the fruition is equal.' Keep this firmly in mind. Immediately after this exhortation, the patron also puts into practice, offering the previously prepared offerings to the deity, prostrates, and then sits on the seat. Sixth, performing auspiciousness: Dispel obstacles by sprinkling water from the activity vase on the substances and the patron. From emptiness, from the first letter of each of their names adorned with bindus, visualize the appearance of the eight auspicious substances arising from their respective functions, and also visualize the patron transforming into Jambhala, the leader of the yaksha hosts, and scatter flowers. Where the great hero is born, may all prosperous things be fulfilled, and may the assembly of accomplished purposes be achieved, may it bring you auspiciousness. Where one is born, causing the earth and its forests to shake, and all sentient beings rejoice, may it bring you auspiciousness. May the happiness of the earth and all beings always be bestowed upon you. Through the power of the Buddha's merit and the thoughts of the gods, may whatever wishes you desire be fulfilled today. Saying this, scatter flowers and hand each auspicious item to the patron. May the great ocean of mirror-like wisdom purify the ocean of wisdom, so that one may effortlessly enjoy the pure Dharma. May this auspiciousness also purify all obscurations. May bezoar, which destroys the three poisons, be a medicine for illness. May one thoroughly realize the Dharma nature of the supreme medicine, thereby eliminating the pain of afflictions. May this auspiciousness also pacify all suffering. May yogurt become the essence of everything, may one thoroughly realize the pure essence of wisdom, thereby becoming the source of all qualities. May this auspiciousness also pacify the three poisons. May Durva grass (藏文：དཱུརྺ，梵文天城体：दूर्वा，梵文罗马拟音：dūrvā，汉语字面意思：Durva grass) increase life, thereby perfectly accomplishing the life of Vajrasattva, cutting off the stream of birth, old age, sickness, and death of afflictions. May this auspiciousness also increase life. May Bael fruit contain all the Dharmas of cause, condition, and result, contain all the actions of the mundane and supramundane, thereby becoming the essence of supreme Bodhicitta. May this auspiciousness also accomplish all wishes. May the conch proclaim the sounds of the Dharma, thereby purifying into the ocean of wisdom, completely and unerringly revealing all Dharmas. May this auspiciousness also obtain the power of speech. May red cinnabar have the nature of subjugation, thereby completely gathering all Dharmas, stabilizing the kingdom of the Dharma. May this auspiciousness also stabilize both Dharma and governance. May mustard seed belong to the Vajra family, thereby destroying all obstacles at all times and places, perfectly possessing power, strength, and qualities. May this auspiciousness also pacify all obstacles. After saying this, the patron should make offerings to the objects of refuge, and everyone present should touch them and finally hand them over to the patron. If one wants to elaborate as in the well-known explanation of items, then do so.
