May I obtain a body with leisure and endowment! Even if I attain the heavens, I am afflicted by the three kinds of suffering. If I cannot keep my vows and samsara has no end, then obtaining a body in the happy realms is an obstacle to liberation and nirvana. May I abandon bodies associated with the eight states of no leisure! May I abandon the bodies of kings and ministers who do not keep vows, constantly commit evil deeds, enjoy warfare, and use unjust punishments! May I abandon the bodies of the weak who are enslaved and tormented, as well as merchants and deceitful people! May I abandon those who steal the wealth of the Three Jewels, disrupt the affairs of the Sangha, freely use wealth without discrimination, laypeople who seek personal gain in the name of good wishes and slander renunciants, and practitioners who burn the continuums of others! May I abandon the evil nature like a venomous snake, the mind of an asura that is jealous of the wealth of others, those who deceive those who should be protected, hate the Dharma, and the bodies of thieves, robbers, and hunters! Committing the five heinous crimes or those close to them, engaging in the ten non-virtuous actions without remorse, burning forests, destroying beehives, etc., may I be liberated from great transgressions! Having been liberated in this way, now at the end of the five degenerations, may I obtain a male body, a precious human body, whether ordained or in any other capacity, may I obtain a body with the lineage of a Bodhisattva! As soon as I am born, may I meet a lama who directly teaches the Great Vehicle path without error, and please him in every way, may I possess the wisdom of hearing, contemplating, and meditating! Moreover, possessing the mind of Bodhicitta, through practicing the six perfections, in the five paths and ten bhumis and the treasury of Mantras, may I possess the supreme fortune to advance swiftly! This was written by the Great Perfection practitioner Rangjung Dorje, in accordance with the urging of Gung Sangpa Jangchub Gyaltsen, and in accordance with the meaning of generating various feelings of weariness with the situation and time. Collection of miscellaneous recitations such as common and uncommon preliminaries.
