The ritual to benefit the deceased in connection with pacifying wrathful and peaceful deities and purifying evil destinies, called "The Net of Altruistic Compassion." The ritual to benefit the deceased in connection with pacifying wrathful and peaceful deities and purifying evil destinies, called "The Net of Altruistic Compassion." The ritual to benefit the deceased in connection with pacifying wrathful and peaceful deities and purifying evil destinies, called "The Net of Altruistic Compassion," is present herein. Homage to the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, a mass of clear, profound light. This is called the profound great tantra, the oral instruction of the union of sun and moon, the ritual to benefit the deceased, "The Net of Altruistic Compassion." By the Vajra Master who possesses the essence of great compassion and is endowed with supreme realization: If the actual corpse is present, that is sufficient. If not, then make an effigy (here, in practice, in a copper bowl, make a plaque of butter, write the name, etc., on the heart, as in the visible lineage; umbrellas and banners, etc., are made of paper), or a name plaque. It can also be practiced on incense and other substances. Therefore, since it is connected with the practice of pacifying wrathful and peaceful deities and purifying evil destinies, it is of great benefit, so arrange the mandala of fulfillment and the implements of offering according to your means. Nearby or wherever is convenient, prepare a mandala of one cubit, smoothing the surface and sprinkling it with saffron and other fine fragrances. On top of that, place a vase stand with eight lotus petals beautifully painted, and on top of that, place a precious vase filled with essence, adorned with a mouth ornament and neck cord, and bound with a mantra-vajra, the outside of which is smeared with vermilion or red clay, four in total. Surround it with offerings. After completing the recitation of the peaceful and wrathful deities' ritual text, the special vase is accomplished as follows: Oṃ mahāśūnyatā, etc. Visualize the vase as a palace of five lights, complete with all measurements and characteristics, in the center of which is the Bhagavan, the teacher Samantabhadra, with a dark blue body, in meditative equipoise, embracing his consort, and in the four directions: In the east, Vajrasattva; in the south, Ratnasambhava; in the west, Amitābha; in the north, Amoghasiddhi, with white, yellow, red, and green bodies, respectively. In front of the main deity is Vairocana, with a white body. All are embracing their consorts of their own light, residing amidst radiating light, and above them are the deities of the lineage of gurus, visualized as the great guides leading the deceased away from the perilous paths of the bardo.

With compassion, becoming the protector of all beings, dispelling the hosts of demons, etc. Inviting by reciting "Vajra samaya jah (བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཛཿ,Vajra samaya jah,Vajra vow, come here!)". Requesting the Blessed One and retinue to come and abide. Offering with actual offerings and mind-emanated offerings, along with mantras such as "Vajra argham (བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ་,Vajra argham, Vajra offering of water)". Although the Dharmakaya is inseparable like space, praising with verses such as "The Rupakaya is like a rainbow". Holding onto the string, reciting "Om ah hum svaha (ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་སྭ་ཧཱ་,Om ah hum svaha,Om Ah Hum Svaha)" and a hundred thousand "Ah (ཨཱཿ,Ah,Ah)". In between, as appropriate, reciting "Om ah bhya dya tam kam (ཨོཾ་ཨཿབྷྱ་དྱ་ཏཾ་ཀཾ,Om ah bhya dya tam kam,Om Ah Bhya Dya Tam Kam)", and for so-and-so to eliminate all sins and obscurations, wearing the amulet of "Shantim kuru ye svaha (ཤཱནྟིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,Shantim kuru ye svaha,Peace, do it, yes, svaha)". Here, if the teacher's pronunciation is not accurate, it is difficult to benefit the one being purified, so the recitation must meet the standard, and stable concentration is crucial. This is the most profound seven-branch practice that transcends the proliferation of appearances. The visualization for recitation is: visualizing oneself appearing as the mandala of peaceful and wrathful deities, the rays of light from the heart entwining on the string, and from the body parts of the lama and each deity, a stream of nectar descends, filling the vase. Finally, making offerings and praises as appropriate, and making up for deficiencies with the hundred-syllable mantra. When reciting "Ah Ah (ཨ་ཨ་,Ah Ah,Ah Ah)", visualizing the wisdom being dissolving and the samaya being dissolving into water. During this time, for the sake of accumulation and purification, prostrating to the peaceful and wrathful deities, and performing the activities of fulfillment in sequence as usual until the offering of the feast remnants. Then there is the special purification: as stated in the "Sun and Moon Union Sutra": "When that one dies, for the body with defilements, placing the vase on the crown of the head, with the seed syllables of the letters, and purifying with the stream of wisdom nectar, the realms of hell are emptied, and its permanence is thus." Therefore, placing the purification on the actual body, on its crown is "Ah (ཨཱཿ,Ah,Ah)", the throat is "Bhya (བྷྱཿ,Bhya,Bhya)", the secret place is "Dya (དྱ,Dya,Dya)", the armpits are "Tam (ཏཾ་,Tam,Tam)", the crown is "Kam (ཀཾ,Kam,Kam)", in order to purify the realms of hell, hungry ghosts, animals, asuras, and gods, these letter marks abide there, visualizing them appearing as the purifiers of those, and washing with vase water along with the number of years of recitation. This method of purification is very profound, so it should be put into practice before performing rituals such as cremation or disposal of the corpse. Here, those who like elaboration, opening from the perfect self-arisen
