Majesty. Retinue and possessions are the six riches. In red (activity): may all sentient beings of the three realms see me as their lama, as their king, as their chieftain, as their father and mother; this is the activity of power that gathers through the four kinds of reliance. In green, attracting and liberating, and so forth, are the twelve great wrathful activities. With dark blue light rays, transforming the four activities into the supreme: pacifying karma and afflictions, and the obscurations of the alaya, increasing the qualities of scripture and realization, freedom of liberation and the wisdom of omniscience, liberating oneself through realization, and then liberating others through compassion; think of transforming into the nature of supreme activity and the five aspects. Moreover, mainly, the unadulterated appearance of inherent nature is clearly visualized as the deity's form; this is the characteristic of clear appearance. When feeling discouraged, training in firm pride has only the necessity of not being obstructed by obstacles. Otherwise, if the appearance of the yidam, and ornaments and attire, etc., are not grasped as symbolic calculations, then the peaceful (deity) will fall into the realm of desire, and the wrathful (deity) will fall into Rudra and Rakshasa; therefore, remember the meaning of the praise in the scriptures beyond the three meanings of the symbolic significance of the place of birth. The symbolic meaning of the charnel ground ornaments has been spoken of in the ancient Nyingma tantras, and the reasons for the special explanations of one's own system in the Hevajra and Guhyasamaja tantras, etc., are not elaborated here. Subduing the four maras, eliminating the three straits, killing the three secret enemies, and so forth, the classifications in this system are not taken as symbols, but rather the way of understanding the meaning of generating self-born and other-born (wisdom) through the oral instructions of the Glorious Great Heruka. Similarly, from the path of the generation stage, the characteristic of one person progressing and attaining Buddhahood without relying on others must be well understood, so it should be understood from the hidden instructions of the eye-net of the place, and the ladder of the Uttaratantra commentary, etc. Third is the combination of activities: the sky-iron vajra fills the entire three thousand worlds, and within the vast expanse of the hollow belly, the assembly of the nine deities of glory is clearly visible, and in the central horn of the very firm upper and lower eight horns, Shakyamuni Buddha is surrounded by the four common retinues such as Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri, and Shariputra. In the eight horns, the eight Indian vidyadharas appear as they are realized, and from their mouths, attracting *jaḥ* (藏文:ཛཿ,梵文天城体:जः,梵文罗马拟音:jaḥ,汉语字面意思:勾招), liberating *bhyoḥ* (藏文:བྷྱོཿ,梵文天城体:भ्योः,梵文罗马拟音:bhyoḥ,汉语字面意思:诛杀), and with *phaṭ* (藏文:ཕཊཿ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:啪) merging consciousness into the dharmadhatu.

Striving to diligently engage in fierce actions of subjugation. The eight horned heads, along with the central head, pierce the hearts of the demonic forms of the nine brother demons, uttering harsh, piercing cries. The pair of hands hold razor wheels spinning counterclockwise, severing the evil guides. Imagine that from the armpits emanate nine-headed, eighteen-horned iron scorpions, devouring them completely. If pleased, one may also perform the throwing of ashes while uttering curses of the hermits. Subsequent rituals, supplementary fire offerings, and so forth should be performed in accordance with the common practice. This, being accomplished through the form of the Lama Yidam, brings blessings very swiftly. In the degenerate age, when Gyal 'gong, dam sri spirits flourish, this is a powerful antidote deity, highly auspicious. Therefore, the essence of the Yidam who subdues obstacles should be taken as the life force. This was written at Tsorong Lhundrup Yangtse by Dzogchenpa Khyentse, urged strongly by the Mon Rdza dkar Lama. The Recitation Manual of the Mind Accomplishment, Great Glorious Gathering.
