Homage to the Tathagata whose body is immeasurable! Homage to the Tathagata who is free from all fears! Do no evil, etc., and with this great generosity, etc., make aspirations. Second is confession of faults: Unattained and diminished, the main deity lacks power, whatever is done here, may the Protector forgive all of that. Deficiencies and excesses, loss of ritual limbs, etc., whatever I have forgotten, I ask you to forgive all of that. Thus, recite the hundred-syllable mantra three times. Third is the firm abiding of the supports, and for the newcomers, with "Om, may you accomplish all the purposes of sentient beings," etc., request them to depart. Fourth is the dedication of merit: By this merit, may all beings complete the accumulation of merit and wisdom, and from the merit and wisdom that arise, may they attain the two supreme bodies. By the power of this great merit, may the patrons and their retinues accomplish their wishes in this life, may obstacles be pacified and auspiciousness prevail, may the auspiciousness of fulfilling wishes come about! Furthermore, in this very life, may all adverse circumstances be pacified, may long life, freedom from illness, and perfect abundance be attained, may lasting happiness be obtained! By the blessings of attaining the three bodies of the Buddha, and by the blessings of the unchanging truth of Dharma, and by the blessings of the unwavering aspiration of the Sangha, may the aspirations and prayers that are made be accomplished! Fifth, auspicious words: Possessing perfect abundance, like a golden mountain, etc., should be extensively proclaimed. Thus, although there are many ritual texts for the Tara Four Mandala ritual, the fundamental source is the collection made by the teacher Nagarjuna based on the Tara Abhisamaya Tantra, but his own realization did not reach its own ground, and the excesses of words were abandoned, and some instructions from the oral tradition were newly added, and this was arranged into a readable ritual, which was written by Dokhampa Jigme Trinley Ozer with great diligence at the request of Gyalwa's descendant Khyentse. The Tara Four Mandala Ritual: The Ornament of the Dragon King's Intent.
