Having burned the fuel of sins with the blazing sun of the four powers, How can I ensure that my own nature is not confused by any action? With the distinction of thought, others are purified. I only rejoice in the asceticism of the thief who steals virtue in an instant. The conduct of endless samsara is untamed, No matter how hard or solid it is, For those who are difficult to tame and lack stability, I urge them to turn the wheel of Dharma, With sharp spokes and outer rim. Seeing that these beings, abandoned by the Buddhas and their heirs, temporarily cling to suffering, On a seat that is not nirvana, I pile up the value of all things. The virtue that trembles with self-clinging, Is a cry seen once in existence. The philosopher's stone that dedicates to enlightenment, This is not found in the doctrines of other teachers. If you are not satisfied with the nectar of contentment, And do not hold the cloud of offerings in your mind, Fearing to wander to the end of words, I also care about offering my body as a cushion. Having vowed to be a servant of the Three Jewels, The cool shade, the graceful flowers of the Sal tree, Even in the presence of Yama, the lord of death, who is always in turmoil, I do not know the value of a frowning face will ever be exhausted. Therefore, I, a sinful person overwhelmed by ignorance, Like a clear crystal that has been carefully polished, In the mind that has purified the impurities of merit, I contemplate the image obtained through the rite of generating the mind of enlightenment. Hundreds of thousands of sins fall into the abyss, Those patients who have been severely struck by the plague, Cannot breathe in the presence of ordinary doctors, Therefore, one should especially take refuge in the supreme physician. For what purpose did you come here, The supreme teacher who contemplates the realms of sentient beings, Is the only great vehicle person, Shining brightly in the midst of the assembly, Taking refuge in the basis of the three refuges, Having made the three requests as the foundation, I take the mind of enlightenment of the Buddhas and their heirs, And all the vows of the trainings. Even though the thorns of afflictive obscurations have been cut, Still clinging to the taste of the objects of cognitive obscurations, The Arhats of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, who have never been liberated, are liberated. From Brahma and other ordinary beings, To those who abide between the learners and the noble ones.

Liberating beings who have not been liberated, from the deep sighs of intense suffering, placing the three lower realms, unable to catch their breath, in a place of great respite; in short, all sentient beings caught in the wheel of the twelve links of dependent arising, not dwelling in the wisdom of nirvana. The expression held by the laughing ceremony relies on the tradition of past sages, constantly three times day and night, diligently generating the two aspects of bodhicitta. Because all phenomena depend on each other at the peak of aspiration, the first expression is aspiration, the second is practice, and the third secures both, which is the supreme view like the ocean's clouds. In the past, not to mention benefiting others, I had never even dreamed of benefiting myself, but with this new quality of precious bodhicitta, I have made my existence invaluable. Anyone who has fallen from their lineage, just as they would obtain the position of a Brahmin in a noble family, has now become a son of all the Victorious Ones, and has obtained the crown of the name of a Bodhisattva. If the lord of the three realms is also happy to hang the banner of ignorance, then just for today obtaining the position of a Bodhisattva, even the gods are inclined to help grow the vines of joy. For the inexhaustible treasure of nectar that destroys the Lord of Death, for the wealth that dispels poverty and the medicine that cures diseases, for the resting place of travelers weary on the path of samsara, from now on I become the sustenance for beings. This concludes the eighth chapter, the section on fully embracing the mind of enlightenment, from the work called "A Rain of Joy from the Treasury of Precious Qualities."
