If thoughts are separated from their objects, then it is ordinary. 716 In wisdom that is clear like a mirror, Although the field of appearance is unceasing, shining like stars, If it is not obscured by conceptual mind, Then, because the object of grasping and the grasping mind are separated and cut off, 717 The wisdom of individual self-awareness, free from conceptualization, Has now reached the level of the guru. In short, the path of the expanse is the single dharmatā. The path of awareness is wisdom with special qualities. 718 The path of luminosity is the two lamps. The trekchö path is simultaneous liberation. The tögal path is the expanse and awareness. These are the Great Perfection's own nature. 719 Having understood the uncommon path, with its qualities, From the friendship of ignorance and the deception of delusion, From the terrifying rock cave of endless samsara, By the iron chains of karma, afflictions, and actions, 720 From this day forward, generate a mind of weariness with bondage.
