What to do? For the actions and habitual sins of slandering with false words, The image of fleeing elsewhere, fearing virtue. 276 All that is hidden in the thick darkness of existence, May it be purified and confessed by the burning sun of the four powers. By what action can the self not be disturbed, By the difference of one thought, may others be purified. 277 Of the robber who steals away virtue in an instant, I only rejoice in following his deceitful behavior. The actions of samsara without liberation are untamed, No matter what kind of hard bondage is used, 278 For those who cannot be tamed and are unstable, I urge them to turn the wheel of Dharma, May they not miss the sharp spokes of the Dharma wheel. Seeing that these beings, abandoned by the Buddhas and their sons, temporarily rely on suffering, 279 On the throne that is not nirvana, Pile up the value of all things together. The virtue that trembles from clinging to self, Is the ritual of seeing existence once, 280 The alchemical method of dedicating enlightenment, This is not found in the teachings of other teachers. If not satisfied with drinking the nectar of contentment, Even the offering clouds not held in the minds of men, 281 Wander in fear of exhausting words, Even when offering one's own body as a seat, they hesitate. For those who have vowed to be servants of the Three Jewels, The flowers of the cool Sal tree, charming and graceful, 282 Even in the presence of Yama, who is full of confusion, The value of angry wrinkles will not be exhausted. Therefore, I, who am oppressed by the power of ignorance and full of sin, Like a clear mirror that is diligently polished, 283 In the mind purified by merit, Behold the image obtained by the rite of generating the mind of enlightenment. Those who have fallen into the abyss of hundreds of faults, The patients severely afflicted by plague, 284 Do not breathe in the presence of ordinary medicine, They should especially seek refuge in the supreme physician. For what intention have you come here, The supreme teacher who contemplates the realms of sentient beings, 285 Only a great vehicle being, Shines brightly in the midst of the assembly. On the basis of taking refuge in the Three Jewels, Having awakened with three requests, 286 I take the mind of enlightenment of the Buddhas and their sons, And uphold all the vows of training. May the dust of afflictive obscurations be cut off.

Me. Destroying the play of the realm of cognitive obscurations, 287. Liberating those not liberated from the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddha Arhats. Those who are completely bound by the bonds of both, From ordinary beings such as Brahma, To those abiding between the learners and the noble ones, 288. Liberating those sentient beings who are not liberated. From the intense and violent long sighs of suffering, The three lower realms where there is no chance to breathe, Placing them in the realm of great breathing, 289. In short, All sentient beings are trapped in the expanse of the twelve links of dependent origination. The city of non-abiding wisdom, Nirvana. The speech held by the laughing posture, 290. Relies on the customs of the sages of the past. Always three times during the day and night, Make diligent effort to generate the two Bodhicittas. When all phenomena arise as conditions at the peak of aspiration, 291. The first statement is aspiration, the second is entry, Attaining stability in both through all three, Is the unsurpassed aspiration like the ocean's clouds. In the past, let alone for the sake of others, 292. I had never even dreamed of it for my own sake, This new distinction of the precious mind, Has made my existence priceless. Whatever has fallen from the lineage, like the lineage, 293. Especially like attaining the position of a monk, Today, having become the son of all the Victors, I have obtained the crown of the name of a Bodhisattva. Having become the lord of the three realms, and through that, 294. If one rejoices even in the deluded spirit-raising sounds, Then obtaining the position of a Bodhisattva, just today, To climb the vine of joy, even the gods are inclined. The inexhaustible treasure of the death-destroying nectar, 295. The wealth that dispels poverty and the medicine that pacifies disease, For the sake of a resting place for the weary travelers on the path of existence, From the beginning, I have become the provision for benefiting others. From the Treasury of Precious Qualities, called Joyful Rain, The chapter on Fully Embracing the Mind of Enlightenment, the eighth.
