If you meditate on the state of being immovable in three ways, it is said that ten signs, such as the samadhi of smoke, will appear in one session. If you practice without separating from the three immovables in that state, then the ten signs, and all the supreme empty forms, will appear even in one day. As it is said in the scriptures: 'Abandon all thoughts, and constantly practice for one day. If you do not believe in this, then I am a liar.' The Blessed One made such a vow, which does not refer to meditating on the wheel of conceptual thoughts, but rather that signs will appear in one day. Next is the practice of daytime yoga. After fully seeing the signs of the night, sit comfortably on a cushion in a secluded place with the qualities. In the morning and evening, turn your back to the sun, not looking at where you are, nor looking at other places, but looking at the clear, cloudless sky or the space. As before, practice being immovable in three ways. Do not practice at noon because the sun is harmful to the eyes. Therefore, one should abide in the three solitudes. Next are the signs seen by practicing (the three). After practicing in this way, in the Avadhuti (central channel), from the right side, the five winds of earth, water, fire, wind, and space are gradually absorbed, and from the left side, the five winds of space, wind, fire, water, and earth are gradually generated. When the ten winds are naturally absorbed, the external grasping of the objects of perception and the internal grasping of the mind, whether subtle or gross, will cease. When the non-conceptual samadhi arises, the definite signs of night yoga are: like smoke, like mirage, like fireflies, like a lamp, and like a cloudless sky. The definite signs of daytime yoga are: like a flame, like the moon, like the sun, like the mandala of Rahu, and like lightning. In this way, the wisdom bindu with signs will appear as green bindus and black bindus, like the appearance of jewels. By meditating in this way again and again, various bindus will be seen as empty forms. This is because when the ten winds are absorbed in the Duti, the external and internal thoughts cease, and the signs appear, which are the limbs of separate cutting. As it is said in the scriptures: 'After the mind is made immovable, one should meditate on smoke and so on.' Next is to abandon the obstacles of meditation, dullness and agitation. The tantra says: Hunger, sleep, and fatigue --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He said, 'For power, wealth, and enjoyment, for riches, praise, Dharma, and lineage, that person should recognize these ten faults and abandon them.' Therefore, abandon all causes of agitation and dullness and meditate. If agitation arises, immediately visualize oneself as the Yidam deity, and from the seed syllable (藏文:ས་བོན།,梵文天城体:बीज,梵文罗马拟音:bīja,汉语字面意思:seed) at the heart of the deity, radiate light, illuminating the entire external world and internal beings, transforming them into light. The light is drawn back, merging into oneself, and oneself is also transformed into light, becoming smaller and smaller, gradually merging into emptiness. Look slightly downward and meditate. If dullness arises, maintain a comfortable posture, sit in the lotus position, grasp the knees with both hands, take a deep breath through the nose, and hold it as long as possible. When it is no longer possible to hold it, exhale forcefully through the mouth and nose. Repeat this process, look slightly upward, and meditate. Next is Dhyana (meditation), which is divided into two types. The essence of Dhyana is: to stably see the various signs such as smoke, and to keep the mind focused on one point without distraction. There are six methods: Wisdom is the appearance of emptiness. Conception is the clinging to the reality of ultimate truth. Discernment is the determination of its meaning. Joy is the attachment to the appearance of emptiness. Bliss is the mind that is together with the appearance of emptiness. One-pointedness is to abide without wavering or shaking in the various appearances of emptiness, without conceptual thought. Therefore, when the ten signs become stable, wisdom, conception, discernment, joy, bliss, and one-pointedness, without wavering or conceptual thought, are the limbs of Dhyana. As it is said: 'Through the practice of the supreme unchanging, one should completely purify the Madhyamaka (Middle Way).' Next is Pranayama (breath control), which is also divided into two types. The meaning of Pranayama is: the ten breaths enter the central channel, within the bindus (drops) of the four chakras (wheels). 'Therefore, life is the state of breath flowing outward, and Pranayama is the act of stopping it. The ten breaths flowing to the left and right enter the central channel, becoming one. The method is: without wavering or shaking, meditate on the various appearances of emptiness, the ten breaths enter the central channel, flowing within the four chakras of the navel, heart, throat, and forehead. The one who does this is: the breath itself goes in and out, is the limb of Pranayama.' As it is said: 'Life should enter the bindu, the bindus enter the chakras in order.' Next is Dharana (concentration), which is divided into two types. The meaning of Dharana is: the life breath enters the bindu of the central channel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
