By the power of the truth of the sacred Dharma itself, Grant prophecies of the true meaning, Bestow supreme and common accomplishments. Oḍḍiyāna Padmasambhava, On the basis of the radiant Vajra Essence, From the mandala of victorious ones in your own body, Reside as the peaceful and wrathful victorious ones of the aggregates and elements. Now, arouse the essential point of your heart's commitment, By prophesying good and bad for me, Cut through the web of doubt, I pray, bestow supreme and common accomplishments. Oḍḍiyāna Padmasambhava, In the realm of the eight great charnel grounds, From the gathering place of flesh-eating Ḍākinīs, With all the accomplished siddhas of Tibet and India, And the seventy glorious protectors of the Tsang lineage. Now, arouse the essential point of your heart's commitment, By the power of your individual truth and ability, Grant me profound prophecies, And the desired result in my mind. For the benefit of the teachings and beings, grant accomplishments. Oḍḍiyāna Padmasambhava, In the realm of the vast expanse of existence and space, From the great unchanging bliss, In the realm of the intention of equality of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, Reside in the wheel of inexhaustible adornments. Now, arouse the essential point of your heart's commitment, By the unchanging great bliss of the Dharmadhātu, Grant me unerring prophecies, Show happiness, auspiciousness, and abundance. Having attained the supreme result in this life, I pray, bestow supreme and common accomplishments. The embodiment of the ocean of Lamas, The speech of the ocean of Yidams, The mind of the ocean of Ḍākinīs, The wish-fulfilling jewel, Padmasambhava. Now, arouse the essential point of your heart's commitment, For ignorant beings like me, There is no reliance other than you, noble lord. By the power of praying with one-pointedness, May you, the Vidyādhara, grant prophecies. The vast mandala of victorious ones, And the supreme embodiment of all refuges, Demons, obstacles, harm, and doubts, The four empowerments embodied in speech and mind. This essence of true meaning, Which is not concealed, not mistaken, not hidden, May the great Oḍḍiyāna grant prophecies. If you, protector, remain in equanimity, Who will the Tibetan people and beings rely on? Who will avert calamities and obstacles? Who will explain the omens of good and bad? Guru Rinpoche, like a father and mother, I pray, bestow the desired accomplishments. Guru, like the sun and moon, I pray, dispel the darkness of ignorance. Guru, like a doctor, I pray, dispel the chronic disease of afflictions. Guru, the embodiment of all the Three Jewels, I pray, save me from the abyss of the lower realms.

Please grant blessings. (You are) a guru like a guide. Please give a prophecy of peace and happiness. Please give a prophecy of accomplishing the purpose of the teachings. Please give a prophecy of unchanging stability. Please give a prophecy of clear non-deception. Please give a prophecy of true non-error. Please give a prophecy of auspicious goodness. Please give a prophecy of happiness and prosperity. Please give a prophecy of spontaneous accomplishment of two benefits. Please give a prophecy of attaining Buddhahood in one lifetime. After praying so single-mindedly, in the manner of supplication and recitation, recite as much as possible the Vajra Guru and Thötreng Tsal. Finally, with the chanting voice of Thötreng Tsal, take the divination container with both hands, and rotate it three times to the right to request a prophecy from the hero in the sky in front, and three times to the left to request a prophecy from the heroine. Then, touch your own five places. Again, rotate it three times to the right at the heart to request a prophecy from the lama, and then pray single-mindedly for the desired purpose, without being bound by hope and doubt. Do not have any doubts about the first result that appears, and generate a definite understanding. Third, afterwards: Offer and praise as before, and visualize the torma in front as a clear deity, It is the union of all the compassion and blessing light of the realms of samsara and nirvana, the guru of power, glory, and radiance. In this realm of dharma and the expanse of the sky, the wish-fulfilling jewel and the wish-fulfilling vase are excellent. Like a wish-fulfilling cow, the uncontaminated accomplishments are filled with the essence of the nectar sea. Grant the supreme and common goodness, whatever is desired in the mind, may the illusory victors grant it from the realm like the ocean. After urging for accomplishments in this way, three rays of white, red, and blue light emanate from the three places. By dissolving into one's own three places, think that you have obtained all the empowerments, blessings, and accomplishments. At the end of Thötreng Tsal, recite: Kāya siddhi hūṃ. (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思，Body accomplishment Hūṃ), Vāka siddhi ā (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思，Speech accomplishment Ā), Citta siddhi hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思，Mind accomplishment Hūṃ). And touch the torma to the three places. Finally, think that the deity dissolves into light, and the torma food becomes the nature of nectar, and enjoy the various foods and tsampa pills as forms of accomplishment. Afterwards, dedicate and make aspirations as appropriate, and recite auspicious prayers. In this way, without breaking the vows, with unwavering devotion to Guru Rinpoche, and without doubt or hesitation about the instructions, perform the divination.
