Rain down showers of flowers, and make extensive auspicious aspirations. Then, while reciting the dharani of Vairochana, the King of Light, the Sarva-vid dharani, and the Acala dharani, etc., respectfully place the tsa-tsas one by one on the surface of a body of water that cannot be crossed by humans or animals. Representing with this root of virtue, may all the roots of virtue accumulated in the three times become the root of virtue for this patron, so-and-so. May just by this, all illnesses, evil influences, sins, obscurations, and hindrances to life be pacified. May life, merit, and wisdom all increase. Ultimately, may the precious state of complete and perfect enlightenment be swiftly attained. Thus say. If it is for the deceased, then say: May this deceased person, so-and-so, become a root of virtue. May just by this, be liberated from the three lower realms and be born in the happy realms and heavens. Ultimately, may the precious state of complete and perfect enlightenment be swiftly attained. Thus say. Whenever, in one's mind, the focus is: Thus invited, Vairochana's body transforms into tiny particles, and when the Naga kings offer them in the great ocean with many offerings, the truthful sages abiding by the ocean also know through their clairvoyance and resonate with prayers. The earth deities proclaim it up to Akanishta. The Tathagata and his retinue also connect with truthful words. Finally, if it is for the deceased, then think that relying on these powers, the deceased is liberated from the lower realms and born in the heavens, and also manifests a body, especially proclaiming the deeds of the Buddha: Ema Buddha, Ema Buddha! Ema Buddha, deeds are good! Why did you purify us from the lower realms, and place us in the practice of enlightenment? After saying this, imagine that they disappear. In any case, make it peaceful and happy with dedication, aspiration, and auspicious wishes. Discard the inferior offerings into the water, and do not reveal the traces of the activity. If you want to elaborate further, then during the practice, set up a Naga mandala and offerings in a convenient place nearby.

Arrange the site. Complete the seven-branch practice of the main part as before. As in the ritual of inviting the colored powders into the water, perform the offering and blessing, from the generation of the mandala to the offering, praise, and confession. Then, pray that you, the Dragon Kings, invite these blessed stupas to the great ocean, so that immeasurable beings may receive great benefit, and that the world may always have good harvests and livestock. In particular, may all the illnesses, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, and obstacles to life of myself and the patrons be completely pacified, may all life, merit, and wisdom increase and expand, and may all favorable conditions be accomplished as desired. Please accomplish great activities. If it is for the deceased, other things are as before. In particular, may all the sins, obscurations, and obstacles of the deceased so-and-so be pacified, and may all the favorable conditions for accomplishing liberation and the state of omniscience be accomplished as desired. Thus, pray for what is desired. After reciting the mantra of Vairochana, send them off and make aspirations as before. Finally, send off the nagas, and extensively recite the dedication, aspiration, and auspicious prayers. Conclude by inconspicuously concealing the traces of the activity. Thus, by performing either elaborate or concise rituals, all the benefits as prayed for will be accomplished. In general, after the Tsatsa is made, there are two ways: inviting it into the water and establishing it as the basis of the path in a stupa. For ordinary people, inviting it into the water is best. If it is absolutely impossible, then place it well in a secluded place such as a cave. For special people, it should be respectfully placed in a real stupa, or in a tiered stupa decorated with umbrellas, banners, and flags. If only hair, nails, etc. have been burned and the Tsatsa has not been made, then whether it is ashes or bones, grind them very finely, and mix them with sandalwood, saffron, various fragrant incense, colored powders from the great mandala, sand or white mustard seeds, etc., recite the Dharani of Mahapratisara, the mantra of Akshobhya, and many other special purification mantras, and mix them together in a precious vessel.

Pour it in. While reciting special dharani mantras, the ashes are thrown into rivers flowing into the ocean, and the visualization is done as before, inviting the nagas to make offerings, etc., and the merit is expanded through prayers. In this way, both the sentient beings and the objects of focus that the ashes touch are liberated from the lower realms. Throwing the ashes into the water is a direct teaching of the "Purification Tantra." So it is said. These are not limited to this time alone. One can also burn bones through Kunrig, Akshobhya, etc., make tsatsas according to the ritual, scatter the ashes in the river, or scatter the praised ashes on the top of a great mountain to be carried by the wind, which is said to produce the same benefits. Inviting, etc., can be applied to any situation, so it is written in a little more detail. For more details on the source and benefits, etc., one can learn from the "Noble Dharani for the Complete Purification of Karmic Obscurations" and the "Purification Tantra," etc. If one cultivates firm faith and devotion, then all the benefits mentioned above will definitely arise. This was also clearly written on a bright page by the renunciate Manjushrikirti with only the altruistic intention, may all beings' temporary and ultimate two obscurations and their habitual tendencies be completely pacified, and may they obtain the supreme benefit and source of happiness! Blank page A concise note of benefit and bliss, which is very necessary in the case of hair and nail burning rituals, etc.
