A Concise Method for Accomplishing the Nectar Medicine - The Essence of Deathlessness and Permanence. A Concise Method for Accomplishing the Nectar Medicine - The Essence of Deathlessness and Permanence. This concludes the text called "A Concise Method for Accomplishing the Nectar Medicine - The Essence of Deathlessness and Permanence." All phenomena of samsara and nirvana, completely transformed into the nature of nectar, for the sake of guiding ordinary beings, develop the essence of deathlessness and permanence. This has three parts: preparation, main practice, and conclusion. The first has four aspects: where to practice, when to practice, gathering and mixing the medicines, and how to arrange the implements. The first three should be understood according to the instructions of the oral tradition and the practices of the lineage-holding masters. The fourth is: on top of a platform, in the center of the mandala, on a raised seat, place a skull cup with auspicious markings, facing towards oneself, filled with nectar dharma medicines. If there is not much, fill it with grains and place dharma medicine pills on top. Cover it with a red silk cloth, bind it crosswise with five-colored threads, and attach a protective amulet cord. Finally, gather all necessary outer and inner offerings, feast implements, and so on. The second, the main practice, has two methods: the method of filling and accomplishing a complete mixture, and the method of explaining it as a single powder. Here, it is explained according to the latter. Upholding the lineage of one's own tutelary deity's activity, the generation and recitation that are inseparable from oneself and the substances to be accomplished should precede. Since one abides in the mandala of one's own nature, focus on the substances to be accomplished in front. Cleanse with Amrita (Tibetan, Devanagari: अमृत, Romanized Sanskrit: amṛta, literal meaning: nectar), purify with Svabhava (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्वभाव, Romanized Sanskrit: svabhāva, literal meaning: self-nature). From emptiness, from the letters Yam (Tibetan, Devanagari: यं, Romanized Sanskrit: yaṃ, literal meaning: wind), Ram (Tibetan, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, literal meaning: fire), and Kam (Tibetan, Devanagari: कं, Romanized Sanskrit: kaṃ, literal meaning: emptiness), above the three arising of wind, fire, and skull cup. From Om (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal meaning: Om), a vessel of auspicious lotus bhānja, wide and vast, facing towards oneself. In the center of its four-petaled wheel, the flesh of a bodhicitta lion and the six excellent medicines, the excrement of an elephant and nutmeg to the east, the flesh of a great horse and cardamom to the south, red lotus peacock flesh and lychee to the west, urine of a garuda and saffron to the north. All possessing color, smell, taste, and power, from the heart of oneself, rays of mantra light radiate. The wind stirs, the fire blazes, all the substances in the skull cup, dissolve into light and completely transform into ten hand symbols. At the center of each, marked with Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hūṃ), Om (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal meaning: Om), Svāhā (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: svāhā, literal meaning: Svāhā), Ā (Tibetan, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, literal meaning: A), Īśā (Tibetan, Devanagari: ईशा, Romanized Sanskrit: īśā, literal meaning: lord), Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hūṃ), Laṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: लं, Romanized Sanskrit: laṃ, literal meaning: earth), Mī (Tibetan, Devanagari: मी, Romanized Sanskrit: mī, literal meaning: water), Jvā (Tibetan, Devanagari: ज्वा, Romanized Sanskrit: jvā, literal meaning: fire), Tvaṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: त्वं, Romanized Sanskrit: tvaṃ, literal meaning: you).

Phaṭ! Immeasurable rays of light emanate, filling the sky, gathering the essence of all that is samsara and nirvana, dissolving into it. In an instant, the five families of deities, ten fathers and mothers, the union of bliss and emptiness, are clearly revealed on the path. Thus, having clarified the mandala of the nature of nectar, in the four directions and eight intermediate directions above the nectar: Namgyal, Shinje, Hayagriva, Nectar Vortex, Blue Dagger, Immovable, Desire King, the three victorious ones, and above and below, Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Seed syllable) performing great power. Holding their own symbolic weapons, blazing with fierce majesty, the great mandala for taming beings is clearly revealed. Above that is the mandala of the wrathful Ta Kṛta. In the center and four directions are the Herukas of the families: Sanu Rakta, Guhya, Bishu, and Yaka Krodha Gyal, dark blue, purple-black, yellow, red, green, and black in color, united with consorts holding conch shells and blood. Above that is the sky mandala of the Sky-Faced Mother. Her four feet are stretched out on top of the heads of the wrathful ones in the four directions. Her body is blue-grey, with nine heads and eighteen arms. The first two hands hold a vajra and bell. The remaining eight right hands hold the eight mothers of the abodes, and the eight left hands hold the eight sisters of the lands. She sits in a posture of covering. The forehead of Bhaga Sanu Heruka is half-submerged in the body of the Sky-Faced Mother. The great and glorious Vajra Life Mandala, the Great Supreme One, is dark blue-black, with twenty-one heads. In the mandala of forty-two arms, the peaceful fathers are on the right and the mothers are on the left. The six Thubpas reside three on the right and three on the left. Eight feet dance, trampling the eight heads of the mothers. The secret Vajra Mother's face is in the center, absorbed into the head of the Great Supreme One. Within the head of the Great Supreme One, the five families of fathers and mothers shine like a rainbow. The horse-headed crown of the head roars in the ten directions. The great mandala of the power of Hayagriva is clearly revealed. The light of one's own life mantra, entwined on the light cord, with the nature of offering, offers to the five families of fathers and mothers above the nectar. Urging the heart commitment and lineage, the light radiates upwards, to the taming of beings, the space, Ta Kṛta, and the Life Horse. At the end of generating joy with the lower offering, the five families of fathers and mothers on the head of the Great Supreme One, pleased and satisfied by the offering, from the light of their hearts, shines upon the victorious sons.
