In front, prepare the performance of blowing, plucking, and striking musical instruments, as well as bathing utensils, mandalas, and so on. The second part is the main practice: Sit comfortably on a seat, endowed with the conduct of meditation, and with a particularly virtuous mind as a guide, in front of the refuge field that fills the sky: With the intention to liberate all beings, I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, until the essence of enlightenment, I constantly take refuge. Thus, take refuge as much as possible, and with diligence combined with wisdom and compassion, for the benefit of sentient beings, I abide before the Buddha, generating the complete Bodhicitta. Thus, generate the mind. Visualize the place and offerings, and perform the four blessings extensively as described in the Medicine Buddha Sutra ritual. If that is not possible, then by the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, and the blessings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the great power of the complete accumulation of the two accumulations, and the pure and inconceivable power of the Dharmadhatu, may these surrounding lands today become places adorned with all the excellent ornaments of the qualities of the pure land of the Bhagavan Amitabha, beautiful and pleasing. In the center of its vast expanse, there is an immeasurable palace made of seven jewels, blazing with light, beautifully constructed, and towering majestically, upon which is a throne made of jewels supported by eight great lions, with a lotus and moon cushion on top. All around are countless lion thrones, lotus and moon cushions. Inside and out, everything is in harmony with its kind, possessing the excellent utensils of gods and humans, food, clothing, musical instruments, and so on, with all the clouds of offerings from the Three Skandha Sutra and the Samantabhadra Prayer, filling it completely, adorned with splendor. In all places, may the ground be without pebbles and so on, as flat as the palm of the hand, becoming a place of gentle abiding with the nature of lapis lazuli. Thus it is said. Again, by the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, and the blessings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the great power of the complete accumulation of the two accumulations, and the power of the pure and inconceivable Dharma realm, may it be so. Thus speaks the power of truth. Then, with a single-pointed mind, burn incense, accompanied by melodious music. Having become the protector of all sentient beings, the god who destroys the unbearable demon army and its retinue, the Bhagavan who knows all things as they are, together with his retinue, please come to this place. Bhagavan, in countless kalpas, you have practiced diligently with compassion for the sake of benefiting beings, and your vast aspirations are fulfilled, now is the time for you to benefit beings. Therefore, from the spontaneously manifested palace of the Dharma realm, showing various miraculous blessings, for the sake of liberating infinite sentient beings, please come together with your true retinue. After praying in this way, visualize that from the palace of Tushita Joyful Dharma, the glorious victorious Maitreya, the protector, with golden color and complete marks and signs, his right hand in the teaching mudra at his heart, his left hand holding the root of the Naga tree branch in meditative posture, flowers blooming at his ear, with a stupa placed on top of it. The crest of his hair is adorned with the stupa of the lord of the teachings, his left breast covered with deer skin, wearing the Brahma thread, adorned with all silk and precious jewels. Surrounded by countless retinues of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Arhats, etc., manifesting and descending from the path of the sky with the great miraculous power of the Tathagata. At the beginning of the bathing, first is the establishment of the bathing room: The bathing room is extremely fragrant, the crystal ground is bright and shining.
