Having crushed them, dry them in the shade and form them into pills. In a clean and secluded practice room, in front of an image of Protector Amitayus, on a table, inside three skull cups, place the pills and carefully perform cleansing and bathing. Cover with red silk, arrange offerings and tormas. After generating oneself as Amitayus and reciting the mantra, purify the front support with the mantra, cleansing with Sva Bha. From emptiness, from the letters “यं” (Tibetan, Devanagari: yam, Romanized Sanskrit: yam, meaning: wind) and “रं” (Tibetan, Devanagari: ram, Romanized Sanskrit: ram, meaning: fire), above the wind and fire, from the letter “ཨ་” (Tibetan, Devanagari: a, Romanized Sanskrit: a, meaning: none), inside the skull cup, place the pills, the five meats, and the five types of nectar, blessed with “ཧཱུཾ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, seed syllable), “ཧཱུཾ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, seed syllable), “ཨོཾ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, seed syllable), “ཛཾ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: jaṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: jaṃ, water), “ཁཾ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: khaṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: khaṃ, space), visualize white “ཨོ་” (Tibetan, Devanagari: o, Romanized Sanskrit: o, meaning: none), red “ཨཱ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: ā, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, meaning: birth), and blue “ཧཱུྃ” (Tibetan, Devanagari: hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, seed syllable) stacked on top of each other. From that, light radiates, the wind stirs, and the fire blazes, the wisdom nectar melts into white and red. Again, light radiates, and all the essence of the four elements, in the form of light rays, nectar, and various colors, are invited and dissolve into the nectar, becoming the supreme essence for attaining the deathless accomplishment. ཨོཾ་ཨཱཧཱུྃ། Recite one hundred and eight times. Again, light radiates, inviting the life and merit of beings, as well as the hearts of the Buddhas of the ten directions and their retinues, and from the union of heroes and yoginis, countless wisdom nectars dissolve into it. May seeing, hearing, and tasting accomplish the Vajra body, transforming into an ocean of deathless wisdom nectar. ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ། Recite one hundred and eight times, etc., and at the end of each session, the three-syllable nectar melts into white, red, and blue, transforming into light and dissolving into the essence. Becoming the wisdom nectar essence pill that bestows the supreme accomplishment of deathless life. During the breaks between sessions, visualize the front generation clearly, offer the torma, make offerings, praises, request wishes, and pronounce auspicious words. Like this, for seven days, five days, or three days, etc., practice single-pointedly in a sequence of four sessions. Afterwards, starting from the dawn of the first day of the waxing moon, continue practicing for six months, etc., without interruption, place the remainder in a red silk bag, wear it on the body or place it among the offerings. At this time, the recitation and so on of the generation stage have been recorded in writing. Afterwards, in order to fulfill the intention of the incomparable teaching's great illuminator, the Four Orders Fasting Master, the precious Yeshe Zangpo, to place a wish-fulfilling jewel on the crown of the head. From the wisdom body of all Buddhas of the past, present, and future, the glorious Lama, the all-pervading Lord of Shalu, Rinchen Losal Tenkyong Pal Zangpo, I have fully received the kindness of this path. By the hermit Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, near the Lhasa Fasting Gephal Thukje Lhakhang, on an auspicious day of the waxing moon, it was completely compiled. By this virtue, may the lotus feet of the holy upholders of the teachings live long for hundreds of kalpas, may the wheel of Dharma be turned, and may all beings enjoy the feast of immortal life and wisdom.
