The abandonment of the defilements of elaboration, such as delusion and discrimination, is called non-rebirth because it is immaculate and pure, and thus there is no further rebirth. This is what the Madhyamikas say. If it exceeds three lines, it is purity. The small part of the great path is: supplication. Just a little, and there are no afflictions. This is like the clouds, mists, and dust, etc., even though they exist, are completely pure by nature in all respects, like the sky. This is what is said. This is the clarification of the teachings, spoken by the great Madhyamika scholar Vasubandhu. If it exceeds three lines, it is without afflictions. The middle part of the great path is: supplication. In that line itself, there is no doing. This means that if there are two things, that which is to be attained and the cause of attainment, then attainment will also not exist. If there are two things, that which is to be realized and the cause of realization, then realization will exist. Therefore, it is only the absence of conceptualization and discrimination that is established as the perfectly established nature of purity. Therefore, since it is established as purity, there is no attainment or realization in that purity. This is what the second omniscient, the great Madhyamika scholar Vasubandhu, said. If it exceeds three lines, the great part of the great path is: supplication. Bhagavan, purity is unmanifest. This means that since the phenomena such as form, which are imputed and conceptually constructed, are established as unmanifest, it is called purity. Because it is unmanifest, it is called the nature of unmanifest. This is what the great Madhyamika scholar said. If it exceeds two lines, it is considered to be the enemy of the three realms. Supplication. Five lines: It is not good to be born in the formless realm. This means that the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm are all imputed. When one is not born in these realms and does not arise in these realms, it is called purity. This is what the Madhyamikas say. One line: By equality. Supplication. Bhagavan. Two lines: Because there is no mind in the Dharma. This means that because it is devoid of realization, it is said to be non-existent. This is what the great Madhyamika scholar Vasubandhu said. Another section: All dharmas are not known. To that, a refutation.

Because of abandoning the letter 'Ka,' the path is both measurable and what is to be measured, and in two lines, it does not cause harm. This is because both of them are the nature of suchness, and are extremely pure. Suchness does not harm benefit, like space to space. This was said by the great Madhyamika Dignāga. Just a pause, because of abiding in the realm of phenomena. This shows that the Dharmakaya is the nature of abiding at all times, so who can benefit or harm it? This was said by the great Madhyamika. If there is one line too many, there is no acceptance. This is because the Prajñāpāramitā is extremely pure, and is the nature of having no grasping at all. If some dharmas are grasped, they will not become pure. This was said by the great Madhyamika. When two lines are cut off on three sheets of paper, why am I all-pervading and infinite? This is because there is no permanence, no cessation, no prior limit, no subsequent limit, and no middle limit, so it is all-pervading and infinite. This was said by the great Madhyamika. In four lines, it is because of knowing the aspects of the path. They say: Extremely pure. This is called the path of cultivation. The wise Bodhisattvas have explained the knowledge of the path in this way. This is the eleventh meaning, which has been completed. From the Treatise on the Instructions of the Prajñāpāramitā, the Ornament of Clear Realization, the chapter on Knowing the Path, the second (is finished).
