It is no different from the Supreme One. So, for what reason is it stable? Because it is the essence of all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana. For what reason is it the essence? Because it is uncreated and spontaneously accomplished, therefore it is stable. For what reason is it stable? Because all adverse factors such as discrimination and characteristics cannot shake it. In this way, because all that is to be abandoned is destroyed, and what has been abandoned is no longer shaken. The ten powers are like the real substance of a vajra. This is what is said. Regarding the aspect of fearlessness, there are two aspects. The teaching is: Because there is no fear for anyone, because there is no dependence on others, because the power of wisdom is extremely stable, and because the ability to destroy adverse factors is perfectly complete. In this way, because it possesses four qualities of dharma, the Sage, the Lion among humans, is like a lion possessing four qualities, having no fear among wild animals, abiding without fear or timidity in the midst of an immeasurable assembly of attendants. This is what is said. The explanation is: In this way, how do we know that it possesses four qualities? Because it directly knows all aspects of knowable things without exception, it is able to answer all questions, and it has no fear of external opponents and other beings, it possesses the quality of abiding. Similarly, it is not equal to the Shravaka Arhats and Bodhisattvas who abide on the ten bhumis, whose minds are purified by their respective obscurations, and it observes them more excellently, so it possesses the quality of not depending on anyone else. The mind does not discriminate about all phenomena of suchness and all phenomena of extent, and it abides in one-pointedness, so it possesses the quality of being stable from samadhi. Moreover, because it has perfectly overcome even the subtle obscurations of the ground of ignorance and habitual tendencies that are extremely difficult to abandon, it possesses the quality of having the complete ability to destroy adverse factors. This is what is said. Not

The mixed representation is: those who cling to the self of ordinary worldly beings, and those who have realized the selflessness of the noble Shravakas, and the solitary self-enlightened beings who practice in solitary tranquility, and those who realize the selflessness of the partially grasped Dharma, and the wise Bodhisattvas who realize the absence of both self and phenomena, and the self-arisen perfect Buddhas who directly know all knowable things. From top to bottom, wisdom becomes increasingly subtle and profound. Therefore, to symbolize these sequences, for example: earth, water, fire, wind, and space. These five elements are such that the latter is more subtle and profound than the former, and the Dharma is the same. Alternatively, the qualities of the Buddha are the most excellent foundation upon which all beings in the world rely for their livelihood. Therefore, earth acts as a support, water as a gathering, fire as a ripening, and wind as preventing decay, which is similar to the means of sustenance for beings in the world. Or, the Dharmas that have become manifest to the Buddha transcend the characteristics of the Dharmas of ordinary worldly beings and the Hearers who have transcended the world, and are uncommon to them, just as space transcends the characteristics of the four great elements. Thus it is said. To summarize, the symbol of non-differentiation is: thus the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the eighteen unshared qualities, etc., these thirty qualities of the stainless fruition, which are called the two roots, are also the self-benefit, the ultimate truth, the Dharmakaya, which are completely distinguished and abide without differentiation in its state. Just as there is no difference between the light, color, and shape of a precious jewel, so too there is no differentiation in the qualities of the ultimate truth. Thus it is said. There are two kinds of ripening results. The way the marks abide in the two bodies is: the body adorned with the excellent marks, such as the wheel mark, etc., merely seeing it causes disciples to generate satisfaction and joy, that quality is

It is said that the virtues of the ripened fruit are thirty-two. These are also the Nirmanakaya, which appears in common, and the Sambhogakaya, which is perfect in the Mahayana Dharma. In short, it depends on the two forms of the Rupakaya. So it is said. The way to symbolize the Rupakaya with the example of the moon is: After purifying the obscurations that become obstacles to seeing the Rupakaya, for the distant disciples, such as the Shravakas, and the near disciples, the Bodhisattvas who abide in the ten bhumis, in order, in the circle of worldly retinues, the Nirmanakaya appears to ordinary people, and in the circle of the Tathagata's retinues, the Sambhogakaya appears to the Bodhisattvas, just like seeing the image of the moon in clear water, and seeing the image of the moon in the sky. Therefore, seeing these two bodies adorned with auspicious signs is because there are two types of disciples, so if you want to manifest the Rupakaya, you should also have the merit of purity. So it is said. The explanation of the third chapter, the chapter on virtues, from the Mahayana Uttaratantra Shastra, the Ratnagotravibhāga, is completed. Chapter Three, Chapter on Virtues.
