After that, the king said to his daughter: "Goddess Sun Lamp, abandoning the faults that are difficult to abandon, are you willing to marry the King of Drum Sound? Think it over carefully, generous benefactor! Consider it carefully, woman who believes in the Dharma!" The daughter said: "Father, you have a body of fame like Vajra, the King of Drum Sound rules over a thousand cities, has five hundred consorts and four thousand ministers. I will marry the one who has a treasury of precious jewels." After that, they loaded the dowry with a thousand elephants, hundreds of excellent horses, gold, silver, pearls, coral, and many silks, and when they sent the daughter away, the father held his daughter's hand and said: "Auspicious Goddess of Glory, the adornment of Jambudvipa, possessing a captivating voice and a compassionate heart, daughter with the color of a blue lotus! Listen carefully, peaceful and gentle woman! When you go to the distant foreign land, the city of Rahu (the star that devours the sun), listen to these teachings of your father! When you arrive at the king's palace, in all your actions, seek the essence in the Dharma, the essence of Dharma is not found in other worlds, because you yourself inherently possess the spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya, in which dwells the Tathagatagarbha luminosity, like a lamp in a vase, the sun and moon in the clouds, a jewel in an unclean place, a treasure of the poor, gold in the mud without impurity, like honey in a honeycomb, fruit in a peel, impure sentient beings possess the Tathagatagarbha, there is no other Buddha besides oneself, seeing it is perfect Bodhi, the activities of the Buddha are immeasurable, Goddess, you are the method to attain it, you must strive very, very diligently, sentient beings who have not attained the essence are suffering, they have been your parents since beginningless time, you must protect them with the four kinds of generosity, gradually guide the sinful, lazy, and malicious people into the Dharma."

Rely on it and have expectations! This life is impermanent, and within conditioned phenomena, it is even more extremely impermanent. This life is like lightning in the sky, like dew on the tip of grass, like a bubble in water. Strive to do good and accomplish the supreme meaning! At all times, do things that are in accordance with human nature, and think about everything before you do it. Abandon like poison secret eating, gambling, singing, drinking, evil deeds, as well as exposing others' faults, cursing, clamoring, and fighting. Shine like the sun, Goddess Sun Lamp! Give servants, retinues, ministers, and subjects extra clothes and food, and generously lend neighbors whatever they need. Towards all harm-doers, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, look upon them again and again with compassion, without weariness. Abandon attachment to gain and respect. Do not associate with cunning, shameless, and wild people, or with newly made bad friends. Do not treat servants and children in front of great people like beating a drum, nor treat them like blowing a conch shell. Do not make the offering scarf unclean with ashes from the hearth. In the presence of the spiritual friend, do not run around swaggering, and behave properly, do not say shameful, hypocritical, and obscene words, do not stretch out your legs or show your breasts. With faith, devote yourself to diligence without weariness. Maintain recitation and repetition without separation. It is said that by completely liberating oneself from the bonds of the two obscurations and stains, one will attain the Tathagata-garbha Dharmakaya. Like water, gold, and pure space, the realm of wisdom is inseparable, the primordial Buddha, from the beginning, has always been constantly abiding, and having attained it, the vast Rupakaya, like a wish-fulfilling tree and a wish-fulfilling jewel divine drum, effortlessly accomplishes the wishes of all beings. May parents, relatives, and friends indulge in the Dharma and enjoy the glory of the auspicious ocean!
