Until enlightenment, I take refuge in all of you. Phat. By this merit of my giving and so forth, May sentient beings have happiness and be free from all suffering, In the great emptiness free from attachment and aversion, In the realm beyond mind, May I attain the supreme and perfect enlightenment. Phat. Self-awareness arises in the sky and becomes a dakini, One's own body falls to the ground and covers the earth, Mount Meru and the four continents encircle it, The wealth and splendor of gods and humans are like clouds of the ocean, Machig Yumchen Gyalwa Gyatso, And the accomplished masters of the Chöd lineage, By offering this excellent and pleasing mandala, May there be no obstacles on the path to enlightenment, And may the two accumulations be perfected by abandoning dualistic clinging. Phat. Humbly I prostrate, offering enjoyment and virtuous gatherings, I confess downfalls, rejoice in virtue, I urge to turn the wheel of Dharma, and request not to pass into sorrow, May all without exception attain enlightenment together. Phat. Phat. Then, the command is: All the gods and demons, the eight classes, flesh-eating demons, dead demons, the three wandering, the three lurking, the three rebellious, all with form and without form, of appearance and existence, are to be thought of as being subdued and suppressed by the samadhi of the Black Mother who subdues demons. Phat. Kye! All you gods and demons, the eight classes, dwelling in this great terrifying place, listen! Since you are under the power of karma and afflictions, helplessly revolving in the ocean of suffering of samsara, tormented by inconceivable suffering, I, the yogi of the profound Chöd, with the supreme precious bodhicitta of pure intention, for the sake of you gods and demons temporarily obtaining happiness and fulfillment, and ultimately attaining the great state of Buddhahood, am making a connection of the profound Chöd, turning the wheel of the sacred Dharma, and giving the offering of the aggregates of cherished attachment, therefore, you gods and demons, with joyful and delighted minds, take your places in the ranks that are agreeable to your minds, abandon thoughts of hatred, anger, jealousy, and harm, and be endowed with peaceful, gentle, and enlightened minds, please abide by my command and vows! If you do not listen to my command and vows, then in this place, piles of mountains of leprous flesh will be heaped up, a sea of leprous blood will be accumulated, and [mountains of] leprous legs will be...

Erect a pillar, cover the top with the skin of a leper, transform the ocean into saliva, invert heaven and earth, and dwell together with you gods and demons without distinction, so accomplish this task swiftly! PHAṬ! PHAṬ! PHAṬ! Thus, command with steadfast focus. Samaya! In connection with this and that, raining, cutting off, etc., performing this ritual with profound focus is a characteristic of Ama Jomo. First, cast the subjugating focus, PHAṬ! Instantly visualize yourself as Machik Krodha Kali, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hūṃ) at the heart, countless iron thunderbolt vajras emanate, encircling that sea or spring with three layers, and contemplate that all nāgas, evil spirits, and earth lords flee, without autonomy. Contemplate that they become listeners to my command, abiding in obedience. PHAṬ! PHAṬ! PHAṬ! Recite until the focus is complete. Then, as Krodha Kali herself, striking the human skin with the right hand and blowing the human leg bone trumpet with the left, contemplate that all the eight classes of gods and demons, earth lords, nāgas, and evil spirits are integrated into the effigy of the local deity without distinction, as if driving sheep with hail. Contemplate that power, ability, strength, and efficacy are perfected. Beat the drum and perform the ritual as in the methods of subduing, subjugating, and cutting. Then, perform the white offering and red offering of body oblation. On the ground of the offering place, where the earth lords, nāgas, eight classes of gods and demons, and all local deities are gathered, then commission the rain. Contemplate that vapor emanates from all pores and rain falls. The command is as follows: PHAṬ! Homage to the sacred refuge, the Three Jewels! Siddhas, the lineage of Chö, lamas, yidams! By the power of the truth of Machik Yumchen, the ḍākinīs! Nāgas, evil spirits, and earth lords of the three thousand realms, and all the gods and demons of existence who have power over rain, gather in this place and subdue them under my control! Evil spirits who obstruct rain, and evil winds, wind lords, and local demons, confine them in the doorless iron chamber below me! Cover them with human skin and the offering place, and bind them with snakes! May the assembly of Machik Krodha Kali ḍākinīs suppress them! PHAṬ! PHAṬ! PHAṬ! By blowing the leg bone trumpet fiercely three times, summon the rain. You yourself are Vajravārāhī, blazing with fire, looking at the sky, blowing away the old clouds. The three thousand worlds are islands of burning iron sand, proclaim the sound of PHAṬ many times, purify all the earth. After those, is the turquoise ocean, with wind, rain, and clouds floating in the sky.
