From the Three Kayas Mandala, perfecting the two stages, The Yidam Mandala deities, bestowing desired accomplishments, I pray with great compassion, please consider. Thus spoken, draw the lower wind upwards and bind it, straighten the middle wind like a vase, cast the upper wind from the crown of the head into the sky, and also gaze with the eyes into the expanse of space. As it is said, control the key points of wind and eyes, and believe that the consciousness of the deceased, the essence of mind, the bindu of light, like a shooting star rising upwards, merges from the Brahma's gate into the heart of Buddha Amitabha. And continuously recite the sound of "Hik" (藏文：ཧིཀ，梵文天城体：हिक्，梵文罗马拟音：hik，汉语字面意思：嘿) three, five, seven, etc. Again, visualize the form of Buddha Amitabha, light, signs, and prayers.

Based on accumulating merit, generating the Bodhicitta for the benefit of others, and increasing through pure dedication and aspiration, that is, without separating from remembering the four causes of being born in Sukhavati. Please bless me to master the profound path of Phowa! Please deliver me from the unbearable abyss of evil destinies! Please bless me to be transferred to the realm of the Dakinis! Please bless me to attain an irreversible and secure position! This is a concise prayer. Furthermore: I prostrate to Amitabha Buddha! Pray to Orgyen Padmasambhava! May the kind root guru hold me with compassion! May the root lineage guru guide me on the path! Please bless me to master the profound path of Phowa! Please bless me to travel to the realm of the Dakinis through the swift path of Phowa! May the deceased, immediately after passing away from this life, Please bless me to be born in Sukhavati! This is a concise Phowa of the piercing method. Emaho! How utterly wondrous, Amitabha Protector, And Avalokiteśvara, Vajrapani, possessing great power, The deceased, with one-pointed mind, prays, Please bless me to master the profound path of Phowa. May the consciousness of the deceased who has gone to the future world, Be transferred to great bliss, please bless! Thus, recite the Heavenly Dharma Phowa, etc., as appropriate, and at the end of each, By urging with the sounds of HIK and PHAT, may the wisdom of the heart, the essence of mind, the bindu of light, like a shooting star rising upwards, dissolve into the heart of Amitabha. The sounds of HIK and PHAT should be emitted. Finally, Emaho! The holy mother's light dissolves into the lord of the crown of the head, That same one, from the path of light, through miraculous power, Mingles with the lord and retinue of the realm of Great Bliss, May it become the glory of leading limitless beings. PHAT! Thus, finally, remain in the unaltered state of reality. Only then should pure dedication and aspiration prayers be recited. This is the intention of Dromgon Lungrik Lingpa.
