Because there is a risk of being bound by obstacles such as fainting and straying paths, it is sufficient to have self-awareness of the nature of awareness itself. For the self-revealing nature of reality, without any mental fabrication, alteration, or clinging to concepts, abide in the stillness that does not deviate from the essential point. If the appearance of clear light is unclear, or if there are distortions such as up and down, left and right, do not let the eyes and mind follow anxiously. Gently guide it from the corner of the eye, allowing it to appear as before. Focus without wavering in the mind, and do not disturb it with clinging and discrimination. Practice and become accustomed to the conduct of self-possession that is inexpressible and free from elaboration. The sign of accomplishment is that the bindu remains unwavering. In this way, the more clear and powerful the inner channels and elements become, the more they can be separated from the clear light of awareness in the space between the eyebrows, appearing without dimming, etc. Because the object and subject are inseparably merged, the dependence on external conditions becomes smaller and smaller, and the practice of the four visions increases. The experiences of clarity and awareness gradually arise. In this regard, because it is seen with the physical eye here, it is necessary to supplement it in the place of exhaustion. If seen with the eye of wisdom, the certainty of the order will be abandoned, and it will be exhausted simultaneously. For some people with good roots who are neither of these two, there are also uncertain ways of appearing, because the differences of beings are inconceivable. None of these should be regarded as signs of the path, because under the conditions of heat and moisture, there are also cases where the essence of earth that matures very early turns into rock candy. Therefore, it must be grasped by a qualified individual. In this way, through the three essential points of uniting wind and awareness, or the four essential points of separating them, wisdom will clearly manifest. If the essential points are not present, the meaning of awareness cannot be realized. As the tantra says: Awareness, wisdom, bindu, originally abides in the base, in the middle, it is revealed by conditions without cause. And as the Later Explanation says: When the essential points of the door, object, and wind are combined, wisdom manifests clearly on the body. And as the tantra says: If the three essential points are not combined, the meaning of awareness cannot be touched. This is its necessity.

By familiarizing oneself with the directly perceived reality through the power of the senses, one becomes free from ignorance. Even if life comes to an end temporarily, by the key of seeing the truth, one is liberated in the realm of the Sambhogakaya, and after exhaling, one attains Buddhahood without the bardo within five hundred years. Ultimately, when the practice of direct experience is perfected, the channels and essences are transferred into light. When the four visions are exhausted, one attains nirvana without remainder. If one does not directly experience reality in this way, there is the fault of regressing from qualities. Bringing the direct experience to oneself through four key points.
