Ignite a clear, bright blue flame. Burn the red-black or green 'Tri'. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ du ga dhṛ śa ṇi sarva pāpaṃ viśuddhe svāhā! By reciting, the wind stirs the fire, and five-colored flames blaze. Burn the blue-gray 'Nri'. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ a sura sarva pāpaṃ viśuddhe svāhā! By reciting, the wind stirs the fire, and a bright green flame blazes. Burn the green-yellow 'Su'. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ a dhṛ deva sarva pāpaṃ viśuddhe svāhā! By reciting thus, the wind stirs the fire, and a bright yellow flame blazes. Burn the white 'A' into nothingness. Again, contemplate that the nectar and rays arising from the three syllables purify the abodes of the six realms, making all places of birth in samsara empty. It is said that reciting the three syllables can be done alternately as desired. When various signs of purification of sins and obscurations appear, and the ordinary clinging of the three doors gradually purifies, like wiping a crystal ball, strive until such signs appear. Temporarily, the seeds of samsara become empty, and the connection is severed. Ultimately, one will reach a state of no return from samsara. In 'Klong gsal', it says: 'Like a Ru-shan split open inside, the source of delusion, the seed of samsara, is emptied, and the three do not return to samsara.' It also says: 'If the seed is not exhausted, the connection of samsara will not be severed.' It is like when the causal seed is exhausted, the fruit produced by it will not exist. Thus, by separately splitting the inner and outer Ru-shan, the clinging of the three doors will be reversed, the continuous connection of samsara will be severed, and the body will mature into great bliss and luminosity, speech will be perfected into the wheel of letters, and the mind will be liberated in awareness, giving rise to experiences of clear emptiness and non-conceptuality, etc. From 'Dbang nye bar rtogs pa', it says: 'Whichever Ru-shan is split, there is no turning back from the three realms.'
